Its been a little too long since I hosted a Splinterlands giveaway so lets do that today. As with all my giveaways entry will be pain free and near effortless. This giveaway will be in the form of a FREE RAFFLE and there will be multiple ways to earn a Raffle Ticket. Before we go over how to earn Raffle Tickets first let me go over what a Chaos Legion Booster Pack is and what it contains.
Chaos Legion Booster Pack
The Splinterlands Chaos Legion Booster Pack contains five NFT's that are playable within the game of Splinterlands. These NFT's can be traded within the games marketplace and on many secondary marketplaces. Each booster pack contains at least one RARE nft and four COMMON nft's. Booster Packs can be purchased in game or on secondary markets such as Hive-Engine.
What Is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a blockchain game built on the Hive Network. The game itself utilizes NFT's for game play. These NFT's can be won in battle and/or purchased from the official Splinterlands marketplace or many other secondary markets. Game play rewards players with cryptocurrency and in game assets. The Giveaway
As noted I will be giving out One Chaos Legion Booster Pack to the winner of today's raffle. The winner will be chosen at random by a random number picker. The timing of your entry comment will determine your raffle ticket number(s). A winner will be chosen in roughly seven days from this post creation. If you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comment section.

Secondary Market Packs

Reminder: Packs purchased on secondary markets such as LeoDex do not qualify for any official Splinterlands airdrops and that includes the Holiday Sale Promo Card.

I think CL packs are at their lowest point right now.
I personally think CL packs on 2nd markets won't go under $1.2, mostly because we are having CL packs burned now.

That might be true. Its possible they dip a little more dependent on when FOMO kicks in for the last of the packs.

hey @rentmoney can you still use vouchers for a discount on buying packs? or am I remembering that incorrectly?
Purchasing 100 CL Packs directly from the Splinterlands site will award a 10% bonus (10 Packs). If you want to claim those 10 packs one would need to supply 10 Vouchers at purchase time. This is true for all bonus levels of bulk purchases of Chaos Legion Packs. There are other Splinterland assets such as Nodes in which Vouchers give a purchase discount to.
Edit: I should add that the new upcoming Splinterlands Tower Defense game does give purchase discount for Vouchers used. TD packs are 8,000 DEC without a Voucher or 5,000 DEC with a Voucher. The same bonus structure for bonus packs applied to CL packs also applies to TD packs.

I'm actually pretty amazed that the price of packs has sank so much on the secondary markets. But I suppose if people are selling off bonus packs they received in bulk purchases, then they only need to sell for above the cost of a voucher for the exchange to be profitable.

That is a good point. I think it has allot to do with the dipping price of HIVE. Even at today's secondary prices its likely past pack purchasers are profiting in HIVE even if taking a loss in USD.

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services but I may have to increase the 0.8% fee to 2.0% if I continue to be unfunded.
Please consider asking your friends to vote for prop #244 or consider unvoting the HBD stabilizer explained below.
For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I will also redraft this proposal with more details (coming soon). I'm also looking for other funding sources.
Additionally you can also help with a vote for Brianoflondon's Witness using KeyChain or HiveSigner
If you have used v4v.app I'd really like to hear your feedback, and if you haven't I'd be happy to hear why or whether there are other things you want it to do.
