The HIVE token is once again on the uptrend and when such an event happens I like to put my HIVE to good use. To date I have cashed out $0 from the HIVE network and I don't plan on changing that trend today. Everything I have earned and invested with on HIVE stays on HIVE. At some point I will likely move some funds around but not anytime in the near future. So what am I to do with my appreciating HIVE funds. That's an easy question to answer, I'll purchase some LEO Tokens using LEODEX (Link: https://leodex.io/market/LEO). The LEO token is the native token to a frontend that allows us to access the Hive Blockchain. Curating and creating content from LeoFinance allows us to earn the LEO token and HIVE Native tokens such as HIVE and HBD.
If we take a look at the buy and sell orders of LEO on LEODEX (can also be purchased on all other Hive Blockchain Dex's such as Hive-Engine) we will see that ONE Hive Token can be traded for roughly SIX Leo tokens. If the price of HIVE continues to rise I suspect that gap to get bigger but at the 1:6 ratio this is a deal that I'm not going to pass up so here we go. The above screenshot shows a small buy order I placed for 100 LEO. I suspect it to fill before days end. I also have a small amount of LEO in my wallet that I first intended on powering up but instead of doing that I'm going to toss it into a Liquidity Pool. Looking at the available Liquidity Pools for the LEO token I decided that I would toss some liquidity in the ONEUP:LEO pool. My liquid ONEUP amounts to just 170 OneUp tokens (I usually power them up) so I won't be able to provide any meaningful amount of liquidity just yet but as my OneUp and LEO stacks grow so will my liquidity provided to said pool. I been meaning to purchase some PSYBERX land for awhile now. I procrastinate allot so I still have no clue how many of these "Plots" I want. However I do know that I better at least get my hands on one or two before they become sold out. What is PSYBERX? To sum it up as quickly as possible, PSYBERX intends on being a Hive Blockchain, Play2Earn, Call Of Duty type of game. It's important to note that You Do Not Need Land To Play This Game. Since Hive is climbing, you made the smart move and paid for the Founder Starter Kit with HBD instead of Hive. Are you thinking about eventually purchasing 15 Starter Kits to get the Land Baron title?
For sure, anyone looking to purchase a kit that is holding HBD and HIVE, HBD is the currency that should be used currently. If using HIVE its best to trade ones HIVE for HBD and then purchase the kit.
I gave it some serious thought when Land was first announced but in order to do so currently I would need to sell some assets at underappreciated value or powerdown and I'm not going to do either of those things. Its possible that eventually I end up with 15 PLOTS but there is too many unknown variables to know for sure. I was going to purchase a commercial plot for 500,000 LEVEL once I seen the price of LEVEL dipped but I was too late to do so. The PYSBERX team is great but I think a cost friendly price for small PLOTS would of been a better road to take. I think $10-$25 plots would of got a larger group of people interested in purchasing said plots. Makes me wonder if they should of went with three land options instead of two (Parcel Plot/SMALL PLOT/Commercial Plot).

Interesting idea. They have stated that 50 commercial plots were all that would be available, but I don't remember reading if there will never be any additional plots other than the 10,000 small plots.
Great stuff! I'm a big fan of the pools and have been grabbing quite a bit of land... got a commercial plot and a few starter kits.
Nice, I was planning on purchasing a commercial plot but my procrastinating got the better of me. I'll likely switch my plans to purchasing another plot or two and picking up some additional LEVEL to add to my already growing stack and then reassess from there.

That sounds like a decent plan! I'm in the ONEUP:LEO pool too, and I jumped into the SWAP.HIVE:LVL pool too... I'm thinking the #PsyberX currency might be a good investment too.
I wasn't aware of the starter kit sale though. I don't know if I'll be playing the game necessarily, but this might prove to be a smart investment. I'll have to put some thought into it. Thanks for sharing! 👍

I think now is a good time to invest in games with Hive on the rise. I also use liquidity pools but in my case the Cent/Leo pair.
I have a little CENT sitting in my wallet. I might take a look at the CENT:LEO pool and toss some liquidity in it.

This is exciting. Now you can get six Leo for one hive. I might try and get some later. I be paying up to $0.23 for them. And the price of hive is up, so that's good for trades. Psyberx starter kits are interesting, but I don't have the funds for it just now. The games looks so awesome, being set in a 3d environment !

Informative post as usual. I'm focused on increasing staked hive tokens for HP so I convert HBD anytime I get it to Hive then stake. I'm beginning to realize I need to watch conversion rates and be smart about conversions.
HIVE is the blockchains main token so stacking it and powering it up is a solid plan.

Keep an eye on the HIVE/HBD price. If HIVE is worth more in USD than HBD, it would be wise to swap your HIVE for HBD and use HBD to purchase a plot. It will cost you less of your HIVE this way.
