First, they replaced people with drones and now they are removing the people who handle those drones. Handling deliveries to different locations where there are so many unknown parameters. Making such a system with flying robots gets difficult.

I am not sure they replaced any people with drones. They were trying to get that division of the company started.
Seems like Amazon is falling behind some of the other companies.

This is surprising, but also it isn't. They overpromised. You'd think that if anybody with their reams of data on customers and regions due to their drivers would get this right, it'd be Amazon. However, hearing about the chaos and constant changes in teams, makes the failure of Amazon Air perfectly understandable.

Seems they are falling behind UPS on this one.
There is a lot of competition and Amazon, much to our surprise, is not going to win everything.

Well as technology improves, those jobs just become useless. It was to be expected but I am sure the workers are not happy.
