This is an example of one man's meat is another man's poison. The approach Gordon took to help Pete and his brand was awesome.

I understood that Pete, the Chef didn't want to be told he was wrong about anything. He felt he was always right and that was the problem. From the look of that pizza, I can't even eat it.

Gordon had to prove to him that his pizza wasn't good through a taste test by having people taste his and two other pizzas without knowing the names of the restaurants or brands that produced them and brought the results to him.

This was a perfect transformation method as Pete was ready for a change.
