Cold War Nightmare

in FreeSpeech4 years ago (edited)

My Cold War nightmares from the sixties and seventies are coming true. Khrushchev may be burning in Hell, but his dream is living on.

How about the persecution of churches by California's nasty governor? Maybe Khrushchev was his model. Starting in 1959, he instituted mass closures of churches, monasteries, seminaries, and convents. Then he moved on to prohibit religious instruction of children even by parents. He also banned religious meetings outside churches and recorded the identities of any adults requesting baptism, church weddings or church funerals. Newsom is probably drooling at the prospect of totally extinguishing Christianity--though he should look at the historical record of those who tried to do that before, e.g. Herod, Nero, Mao....none of them succeeded, because Jesus always wins.

Wake up! You stupid Americans, thinking all this masking and distancing and shaming is temporary! You are fools and you won't realize it until it is too late--which may be very soon, if the Democrats manage to steal the election via mass production of bogus mail-in ballots or by widespread incitement of violence. Your unquestioning compliance has emboldened them to finally show their communist colors and make their move to overthrow the republic.

Thank you for speaking your truth! <3 October 1, the Red October, is arriving soon. My partner and I were just discussing ideas on how to come together and be closer with family. Ideas to follow...but I am curious if you have ideas that might combat these nightmares from coming truer and truer each day... Much might be out of our control, but what we have control over is our personal choices and our influence on others. Please, I am open to ideas across the spectrum. For myself, I'm very introverted and generally do not interact with many people. However, I am making a conscious effort to interact and stay connected with people I consider to be "good". I don't know you personally, but I want to build a connection based on what you've shared here and your creative skills.

I remember watching Khrushchev bang a shoe on the table at some kind of televised political gathering stating something similar to "we will bury you" and added..."without ever firing a shot" (according to interpretations) I was a mere child at the time and though not realizing the gravity of those remarks, it did sort of make me nervous.
