For the New Year, we have a wonderful tradition - to launch air lanterns. If someone has read a fairy tale about Rapunzel, then they should know what they did on her birthday. Everyone was launching air lanterns!
All the past years, our flashlights have either burned out, or broken, or fallen. But this time we ordered as many as 14 flashlights for at least one to fly. These flashlights are heart-shaped. We have three colors: blue, purple and red.
Surprisingly, the first red flashlight flew perfectly! He shone so beautifully!You need to light the alcohol clinging to the bottom of the flashlight and wait. When you already feel that he is flying then release him. It's just magical when he flies first to the top and then over the forest.
The second flashlight was blue. At first when we let him go he started to fall. We had to catch him so he wouldn't fall to the ground. But then when we waited a bit, he flew straight to the neighbors over the chimney a few inches.
We launched the third purple flashlight at 12 at night in a field near my house. This is because my mother was afraid that he would get to the neighbors' house. He flew first to the top, climbed to a height of about ten meters, and then flew over the forest.

Wow that beautiful and glad to know it use at other places too as here it's ban to do it although we do in in kite festival in India, where lots of balloons on air. Kite festival will on 14 and 15 January.
Are you prohibited from launching flashlights? Although kites are cool too! 😁
Yes because of fire in it as if it comes down and land on house there may big fire. Here those who sell it will get jailed.
