Who are you in 250 words: A project in constant development

It's kind of funny that this was one of the topics because it ties in quite nicely with a recent experience I had that was a real eye-opener. Some weeks ago I was in a diploma class where we were asked: Who are you? And the vast majority started to answer the same as me, focusing on their professional profile, age, the typical. That class was properly about neuroscience with the objective of getting to know better how our brain works. As it turns out, that's not who we are, at least not what we should be focusing on when we answer that question.

So...

I am an absolute dreamer who believes that every day we can be a little better, someone who although always aspires to more, knows how to appreciate the little things in life and enjoy what she has. A person who considers herself independent, but who does not want to imagine her life without the company of the people she loves, because it is with them that she enjoys happiness the most. When I think of myself, I think of someone very human, with virtues and flaws, who through processes of deep reflection has achieved peace of mind.

We are all energy, and the kind of energy I want to be is the one that feels like a warm hug on a cold day. I don't think I can say for myself if I'm getting there, but I'm working every day for it.

Thanks for reading!

You dream that "every day can be a little better" but I wonder what you actively do to make each day better.

Well, generally what I do first is try to identify where I need to improve, in general, whether it's about myself, about my life... that's kind of a starting point.

That's what I did a few weeks ago and I realized that I need to improve my eating habits again, that the ones I have now are not doing me any good, so I have started to eat more vegetables and protein, and consume less sugar to finally give it up completely at some point, like I did with coffee for months now because it wasn't doing me any good either.

Anyway, I think it is a process where the most important thing is to take one step at a time towards improvement.

Thanks for taking a second to read and comment.

One step at a time is exactly the way to do it and knowing what steps to take is an important element also. I think you're well on the right track, keep it up.

Good to know you. Guess 250 is enough to say about ourselves if are well focused.

I don't think 250 words are enough, but you can always try to simplify, which is what we do here.

It is a pleasure to be here. Thanks for taking a second to read and comment.

A matter of perspective.
Our esence can be easily captured, mainly for ourselves.

A project in constant development and Dreamer, that phrase and that word are perfect to describe yourself, and in fact me too, I identified a lot with your post, and yes, Galenkp did a great job choosing the topics, many will find similarity with your last experiences. Happy weekend Gabriela 🙏

He always brings very interesting topics!

I'm so glad you identified, that's what it's all about too.

Thanks for reading me.

So kind of you carrying other's at heart and seeing there problem as yours 😊

I try to! Empathy is very important to me.

It's refreshing to read that you see yourself as a work in progress and that you actively take steps to find the growth and development you desire. Well done and thank you for this nice little post.

I think that's what it's all about, human beings have an immense capacity to improve every day, I don't think there is a limit to personal development and improving yourself and your life.

This is a beautiful reflection on life, growth, and the importance of human connection. Your pursuit of inner peace and positive energy is inspiring, and your self-awareness is commendable. Keep striving for that warm hug energy; it's a wonderful goal.

Thank you! I will certainly try to stay in that line of thinking that I have been cultivating for a long time.
