Na mate, my travel was smooth as silk...other than going through security. I fucken hate that part. Not that I have anything to hide, just that it's annoying as shit!
That image is of a Nespresso coffee pod, not one of the typical ones, it's for one of their machines that operates slightly differently that the rest. The machine reads those little black lines and knows what to do for that type of coffee. It spins inside of the machine. Vertuo it's called.
Oh yeah security is annoying only for the time it makes you waste really...

I love this quote by George Horace Lorimer because it defines the need to approach the day's events with responsibility and practicality to achieve the desired results and end the day in the best possible way.
I have two favorite topics, but I don't have the images for the one I like the most. I'll see how I participate because I really enjoy this initiative.

Topic 1 caught my attention the most.
I once had a travel experience where it felt like I wasn’t ever getting to my destination.

Worst plane travel was definitely our first trip to Vegas. What a bummer that was... Paid for a night at a hotel that I didn't use either. All around bad!

I think those are my favorite topics so far. Very much on the lighter side, but that should be a lot of fun. Can't wait to see @deirdyweirdy baking a cake in her bedside drawer on the worst overnight-train ride of her life which she foolishly endeavored out of love for her community, hating herself for it. Oh, that would be such an awesome post! I really hope she takes the challenge...
I woke up puzzled. Way too early. Went to bed late. Had a lot to think, as it seems like I misjudged something and did a mistake in the process. Due to a lack of self-control I think, and getting overly excited. Luckily, that was only one aspect of my day and happened quite late, but it took away some satisfaction that I had felt during the day.
Today will be difficult. A rollercoaster. First, gym and then meeting with a friend for coffee, that is very positive. Then, going back to Lily's school and putting a floor into a new room (again! This time it's new, not used, so it should be faster, though). Then lunch and such. At 4pm the worst, meeting with a co-worker to talk about his future, more precisely the end of it, at the bakery. I hope he can convince me to keep him on, I like him a lot and he can be a good worker, but he's so inconsistent that it causes a lot of trouble for the rest. We've been working with him on that, but he's just not putting his part towards personal transformation, and the rest of the team is not willing to drag him along any further, neither am I. And I don't think that he's happy with it, either.
Anyway, it's going to be a difficult decision to make. Considering that, I'm glad that I was pulled off my high horse yesterday, so I can it one more down to earth.
At last, jamsession in the evening, and a great saxophone player is coming. That is a very positive perspective for the end of the day, and I'll try to put everything in place to make it satisfactory.
