WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU STOP IN FRONT OF A RED LIGHT?

Hi everyone!
How is it going? I’m so happy that I found the @THEWEEKEND community where I can share all about my life with you guys. Today was a worthwhile experience for me. Get on and explore Da Nang with my motorcycle.

It’s such a beautiful day with a little sun and a gentle wind. I have the impression that summer has paid a visit there. The road is still congested with people, each of whom has their own reason for being hurried.

The etching of a road in Da Nang also has a special memory for me. I’ve studied here for 4 years, but sometimes I forget the name of the street I went over. If you are a fan of Demon Slayers, you might know Muichirou. Sometimes I am absent-minded like him. I just want to hear the songs and images of this city.

**## *I wonder what you often do when you stop in front of a red light.*****
Wait for the green light? Or thinking about your incomplete work? Count for a second, then look around and sing a song. It is what I do.
While I was waiting for the green light at Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, I ran into a group of barbers working outside with "
free
" on the poster. It made me feel so ridiculous. So I decided to pull over and look at what they were doing and strike up a conversation with them.

The group has seven barbers with familiar tools such as combs, scissors, trimmers,... I can see that they were really enthusiastic about their job. I didn’t know why it attracted me so much. There were many people waiting for their turns. Um, I want to try it.

People often say that free things are not good, but not really in Vietnam, haha. I looked at their work and thought, "Oh, that’s so cool. It’s free, but the quality is another story. Look at their clients' smiles. " There seemed to be a ray of sunshine in the hearts of the barbers, and I felt so warm. I have complete confidence in their skills.

I started a conversation with a man in the group and learned that this was a group of workers from Bin & Homie barber shop. They are in the process of training, and this activity is also fun for them and helps them practice their skills better. However, don't worry because the trainees are accompanied by leaders to guide them and handle difficult cases.

Customers here are quite diverse; they are low-income workers, motorbike taxis, the elderly, homeless, poor students, etc. Because it is a free activity, sometimes the number of visitors is very large, and it seems that there is no break time. They work here every afternoon and end the activity at about 6 p.m. They have held this activity for 2 years and gained a nice clientele for their shop. This work is for the community and is really a warm activity. I so respect their work. I love all of you guys.

The average cost for a haircut at the shop is about 20-30K, and more if there are other services. But here, with a chair, a green park is a great space for a haircut. Although the group's actions are small, what they are doing is spreading warmth. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Da Nang, the image of them makes me feel like I'm slowing down. And maybe I fell in love with this place, not only the beauty of the landscape but also the beauty of such people as them. You could drop by 29/3 Park on Nguyen Tri Phuong Street to try it; it's so great.
