Happy weekend to everyone, today in week 198. This week's questions I liked several of them, but I had to choose one. I identified with the question

¿Do you think society is getting out of control and why? Explain with examples.

I select this question because in my role as a mother and having teenagers I can share my experience on this topic.

The times have been very changing, if I make a relation of how was the society where I grew up, I can remember that in my time there was a lot of sharing with friends in the streets, always put into practice traditional games of my country; as I stepped on a plane that was put with number and jumped on the frames of the plane. We used to meet at night to tell stories; well, in short, I think those were very nice times and learning for young people.

Now answering the question and based on adolescence. I believe that with the passing of time and the incorporation of a lot of technology to our young people has led to consider that society is getting out of control; I explain.

Hearing of cases of very young girls who are immersed in the use of phones, they have no contact even with those who live at home. In addition, they have access to inappropriate content such as pornography, jobs where they sell their privacy and see it as an alternative to the easy.

I am a teacher and I have been in a conversation where it comes out how girls at such a young age are able to show their private parts without having any modesty and courage.

For me, values have been lost and one of the causes is the uncontrolled use of technology that sells you many things; some good, some not so good.

For me, society is out of control with respect to young people and the indiscriminate use of technology and social networks.

There are other points where it can be said that the world society can get out of control. But I wanted to focus on the youth since it is something that is constantly being experienced and that we must act as parents to avoid greater evils.

I bid you farewell and see you at a later date.

Greetings friend Lisbeth, your point of view is interesting.
I think that parents, more than society, are the ones who have put aside that control and responsibility, allowing social networks to take control. Being a teacher you must hear so many stories every day, but when you ask those students about their parents, or when you call the parents at the high school, you realize where they all come from.
My 15-year-old son comes home with his classmates to each play with their phone, and everyone knows that when they arrive they must show me that they told the mother that they would be there at my house.
Everyone already does it and calls me to show the message, I'm no one's mother, I don't scold them or anything. Furthermore, I tell them that they should play with the volume of the well-known game where everyone shouts and etc. That's so I know what they are listening to. I don't let them play with headphones. While I'm on my PC I can see what they're doing in the room.
They are the rules of my house. I don't know how they play in theirs. But in mine they behave well and follow those and other rules.

Greetings, good thing you have those rules. The examples I give are because I have heard about many young people who have been greatly affected by the use of technology and misuse social networks. Certainly parents play a very important role in this. But we must also see that this new society promotes many improper things that want to lead many young people to the lack of control within society.

That's right friend.
Society promotes what is inappropriate and young people get confused.
Thank God, teachers are also an important part and can see those things that escape the parents' sight. Blessings on your work 🙏

I somewhat agree with you - technology is everywhere nowadays and it definitely harms (especially building meaningful relationships) as much as it helps us. I would also add that another thing society throws at us are these unattainable beauty standards that also affect adolescents in the worst way possible. We definitely live in a crazy world.
Very well written :)

Greetings, we are really going to encounter good and bad things. Yes, we are in a crazy world. As parents we must act to avoid this lack of control that exists in society.

You’re very right
Now, the attitudes of younger people is getting out of hands and indiscipline is highly portrayed which is really bad. I’m an optimistic person but sometimes, I doubt if things can get better

Yes, I also feel that now there is a lot of rebellion and young people are immersing themselves in what they see on social networks or using technology inappropriately. I am optimistic that with good parental control , many may not fall into this. Greetings

Hello, over the years, things have changed a lot. The introduction of technological advances definitely came to make our lives easier, but we must recognize that they are a double-edged sword. Social networks are very useful, they have achieved a connection between people at a distance, they have generated jobs, however, they have become a barrier that distances people. As you rightly say, people spend more time on the phone, they prefer it to face-to-face conversations. On the other hand, many people use it inappropriately for sexual matters, which is very unfortunate.
