The truth is that self-care can be both selfish and selfless. On one hand, taking time to prioritize your own needs and desires can be seen as a selfish act .However, by taking care of ourselves, we are also better equipped to take care of others and contribute positively to society . Additionally, self-care can also serve as a form of selfless activism, as individuals who prioritize their own well-being can more effectively fight for social justice and equality. Self care is a joy and inner peace that's essential for your health.
Ultimately, it's important to approach self-care with a
balanced perspective and consider both individual
and collective well-being. Taking care of yourselves
can help us better take care of others, and vice versa. As a leader, it's crucial to take care of yourself.
You won't be able to serve others effectively if you
don't take care of yourself.
But if you are happy, healthy, and have mental clarity,
you'll be able to lead your people effectively. It's your job to take care of yourself. Self care is important for us because it gives us happiness and confidence. Self care is not being selfish. The word won't stop if you do not show up for them one day. But if you keep living to make others happy All days will pass by. Slowly you will feel you never lived for yourself and that word console you . So make yourself a priority.
