Reborn from the shadows
On a dark and cold night, Lucrecia was in pain from so much abuse she had on her, her body was shattered by the years and the diseases that took hold of it, her wrinkled skin reflected dehydration, her dry hair and split nails were just the beginning of a fragile figure.
Sleepless because of insomnia, she walked to the kitchen for a glass of water, tripping over the bedside table an old mirror broke and when she lifted it she was impressed to see her reflection, she had stopped looking at herself for a long time losing the memory of her face.
She sat down with her glass half empty and remembered how beautiful she was in her youth, how she looked and how desired she became to the opposite sex.
What had happened to the woman she once was? Thus began her midnight reflection.
She now looked like the witch of a fairy tale, wrinkled, with white, tangled hair, and with dirty, bitter, hostile-looking clothes. If she complained that she would serve, it was a habit she had, but she didn't want to go on like this anymore.
she thought: if only I could go back in time but that is not possible, having a dignified old age was what he wanted.
Her tears of pity, resentment, and anger towards herself were transformed into compassion, and she began to talk to herself.
Lucrecia what happened to you, because you allowed your body and your life to reach this deplorable state, look inside yourself to see what the mistake was and if you can repair it, the moment has come. Reflect and look beyond, hidden must be the seed that you have to pull out.
Taking a deep breath, she remembered how the envy she once generated filled her with pride, and this transformed her into a spiteful and hateful being, and as these feelings grew up, other feelings accompanied her, and anger and laziness created physical discomfort that could not be explained, and as time passed by, her joy withered and the beauty she was born with became blurred.
She looked for a nail clipper and while using it she repeated incessantly a phrase.
I want to renew my mind, with your word Lord, I know that you have a new beginning and a call for me.
Tearing up the rags on she, he released the rage that he contained.
Then he bathed and untangled his hair, cut it, and combed it transforming his look and releasing the memories of pain by a motivating impulse, it is never too late they said you can always start.
The hours had already passed and the dawn was coming, the sun was shining and a reflection could be seen on the edge of the mountain, the cold was dissipating and the plants were waking up to receive the warmth that the sun gave them.
Lucretia was not the same as the night before, her transformation began from within, eliminating resentment and frustration, thoughts of the past that left and opened the way to the different and revealing present.
She saw again the reflection of her face in the mirror and this time the young woman recognized that one day she was full of love, her renewal came.
It is not the strongest species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one that responds better to change.

Me gusto mucho esa foto inicial y el relato me recordó a un ser querido, aún no da paso a su transformación, pero así como dices nunca es tarde.
Dure todo un día realizando este post, media día redactando la historia y dándole forma y otro medio dia entre 4 o 5 horas buscando la imagen que se adoptará a la historia.
Porque no quería poner nadie enfermo mental, ni mendigo, ni pordiosero, ya que ellos no son los únicos que necesitan una transformación. Y las pocas imágenes que salían era de hombres.
Así que pensé en una bruja pero salían brujas muy bien arregladas 🤪, así que esta fue la única que conseguí.
Que me hagas este comentario de la imagen tiene mucho valor para mi,hace que el esfuerzo valga la pena.
Deseo que tu familiar pronto despierte y decida hacer una renovación. 🙏

I lasted a whole day doing this post, half a day writing the story and shaping it and another half day between 4 or 5 hours looking for the image that will be adopted to the story.
Because I did not want to put anyone mentally ill, or beggar, since they are not the only ones who need a transformation. And the few images that came out were of men.
So I thought of a witch but there were very well arranged witches 🤪, so this was the only one I got.
The fact that you make this comment on the image is very valuable to me, so the effort was worth it.
I wish that your family member will soon wake up and decide to make a renewal. 🙏

The reading made me feel very sorry for Lucrecia's state of abandonment. But then I felt much better knowing that she regained her life, in part, thanks to personal psychological work.

I don't know if there are mistakes, but at different places, you used HE, HIS. I think it's a typo error but at some points they got me confused but I was able to wrap it all that perhaps they are mistakes.

Those are the errors that come with using the translator, and no matter how much I review and edit there is always some mistake.

I understood the story except for some places you used HE or HIS instead of SHE and HER.
See like this paragraph, I copied it directly from the post. And all the personification there is HE rather than SHE.
There are other places I saw those errors as well but I think anyone would understand it's an error but if you still want to edit you can.
