RE: 3 questions: Future, Processes & Hurdles

in Ask the Hive5 years ago
  1. I want to publish my first novel and have the financial means to freely commit to writing the second one without having to split my time between writing and my current day job. In three years time, I want to be a full-time writer and internet marketer and travel for at least six months of every year.

  2. I have already devised a plan and committed to it: work on building small habits like daily writing, reading and meditating, and other business-related things like building websites and writing email campaigns. (the cool part is that I have already successfully followed this exact blueprint a few years ago, but made the mistake of getting sidetracked somewhere down the line)

  3. Nothing - I am committed and the plan is under way. I just have to persevere and not let anything sidetrack me or use excuses to procrastinate.

Sort:

Out of curiosity, what sidetracked you and would you get sidetracked again?

It was a fifty fifty split between perfectionism (I was on a roll, making great money, and I procrastinated on a project because I didn't see the whole picture) and a fairly catastrophic financial blow not of my making that hit me just as I was resting on my laurels.

And after that, inertia...

But I'm ready to kick ass again, big time!!! #NoExcuses

Inertia is definitely a force to consider, up and down. Would be nice to have it working on ups a bit more :)

I am sure you will!
