Alric Stormbringer (The Magician) - Splinterlands Art.

in Sketchbook4 years ago

Hello

I hope you're having a great day!

Welcome back to my blog where I'm going to share another one of my splinterlands art.

This time, I'm going to show my hand-paper drawing again (not something that I designed on the computer).

This art is for Splinterlands Art Contest! // Week 90.

Let's see the completed art.

Concept of the art:

Just think that he's not the Alric Stormbringer from splinterlands who leads the water splinter.
Let's think this is a summoner who leads a Magic Splinter where Magic Splinter is the team with all the magic monsters.

And look at this one, the magician.
He can make fire on his arm with having the capability of changing a stick into a snake.

My wife @sharminmim drew the sketch actually and did the finishing part so it became my art :D.
My wife was confused about the coloring and that's why I started doing it on my own.
Although the sketch did everything and the credit (half of the credit actually) of this art should go to my wife @sharminmim.

I used the Alric Stormbringer (Summoner of Water Splinter) of splinterlands for this art.

Alric Stormbringer

The oldest ΛZMΛRÉan Summoner, Alric Stormbringer, founded the modern arts of Chaos Magic. He has many pupils from around the Splinterlands. Alric’s gift is not so much bringing the storm, but channeling it. He has lived for hundreds of years, and some stories claim he was alive before the Splintering - Source.

This is the character that I drew on my art book.
But I made him a magician who can make fire on his arm with having the capability of changing a stick into a snake.

Steps.

@sharminmim drew the sketch.

She forgot to capture photos in step by step and I was not at home while she drew it.
So I captured this photo before I colored it.

Then I started coloring the art.
While I was seeing the color of the real art, I asked myself "why don't I do something different?".

Then I started doing the color as I like.

I started with the skin and the fire.

Then I colored the beard.

Then I colored the snake.

Nice one :)

@tipu curate

Thanks for the curation.
Much Appreciated.

A piece of advice.
You should curate a post at least after 1 hour from the publishing of that post.
I hope you know that... whales/big curators don't curate posts that already has good value.

Please don't ruin someones big curation for your tipu level.

I am also a curator of tipu and I try not to hurt authors to increase my level.
I normally search for quality content that has passed 1 hour (minimum) and have low value on the post.

If you think what I'm saying is wrong then please let me know about that.

Hope you understand... @hamsterpoweriii

Thanks. Cheers.

Hi,

as I curate manually (at least the tipu curates), I really try to find good posts.
And my intention is to help the authors, not harm them.

From my experience whales will vote for good posts even when a (to be honest rather small compared to theirs) tipu curation has been added already.
But guess you are right that sometimes it might hurt the authors 😢

Will reconsider my votes.

Cheers

Like I said... I also curate for tipu and yeah of course it helps the author.
And actually... I've checked on it from my own experience and even got idea from some more authors about it and then I came to this conclusion that a post should have a lower value for at least 30-40 minutes when whales curates actually.
If they find that post with good value then whales who think about curation rewards don't curate that post.
Actually, a whale bot owner also told us about that.

There are some good authors who even asked to be in tipu blacklist as they've cracked it.

So I think every tipu curator should consider upvoting a quality content which passed a moment of around 30-40 minutes (at least).

I'll be happy to get your curation or any others curation on my posts but that should be after a time so that whales can take their chance.

I hope you understand.

Good to see your work!

Thanks apu.
It's nice to know that you liked it although you didn't say that you like it... :D

The artwork is very childish, am I allowed to say this? ha ha ha...
But I really love that you make time to do this. Doing something creative can make us productive. I can't get a second to draw even a line. That's why your work make me feel good!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
