Dolores O'Riordan
Hola amigos / Hello friends
Dolores Mary Eileen O'Riordan ( September 6, 1971 - January 15, 2018) was an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. She rose to world fame when with The Cranberries, the rock band she was part of with Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler, published the song 'Zombie', a song composed solo by O'Riordan with which the group denounced the situation in Northern Ireland after having suffered for years armed clashes between Catholics and Protestants telling the story of an IRA attack in which two children of three and twelve years died. She was a great artist, her voice was unmistakable and she was undoubtedly one of the best representatives of her generation. Her death occurred on January 15, 2018 from alcohol intoxication in a London hotel.
