Here is my entry for the 'Daily Drawing Challenge' Day - 13 (Aged)
In the painting, I have tried to portrait love that binds two souls together even if they get old. If you see, the painting portrays a simple old aged couple holding hands taking a walk under beautiful star gleaming night.
This scene is an actual event occurred in my life. I have seen my grandparents used to walk like this in the evening when I visited them during my summer vacations.
Let me show you the process of this painting from the start.
Step 1
I have used Ivory Sheet for this paiting
.
Step 2
I used oil pastels to color the background.
Step 3
I have used tissue paper to blend the colors.
Step 4
Coloring of the grass.
Step 5
Outline of the Couple and grass color merging by tissue paper.
Step 6
Coloring of the couple.
Step 7
A beautiful lamp post added to the painting.
Finally
