Miraculously peanut can complement sweet, salty, and savory foods. Starting from using the original form of peanut itself, as well as using processed peanut, peanut butter.
We can make peanut butter sauce and plant-based milk.
Sweet but savory and slightly spicy can be a new thing to list the sauce you should try for baked food.
I will share the recipe for you.

The Ingredients
- 100 grams of fresh roasted peanut OR 5 tablespoons of peanut butter.
- 200 grams of plant based milk. Here I use coconut milk.
- Candlenut (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red Chili Peppers
- Garlic
- Onion
Herbs
- Bay Leaf
- Kaffir Lime Leaves
Instructions for Making It
Because here I use fresh peanut instead of instant peanut butter, first I roast peanut.
Then we just need to put the peanut / peanut butter into the blender with milk, salt, pepper, red chilli peppers, garlic, and red onion.
- Then, heat a little oil. stir-frying mixture while keep stirring. Add herbs. Let them until became fragrant.
Peanut Butter sauce is ready to use. If the sauce is too thick, you can add more plant based milk. Conversely, if it's too runny, you can add peanut butter.
I use peanut butter sauces for baked sweet potato fries. Oh what a delicious mix.
This is the first peanut butter sauces that I made and say it works.
