In Scandinavia, we have several companies for the competition in the air! And we need competition strategies here, as well as in other sectors and industries. So, which companies are most known in Norway? Today, it is SAS and Widerøe.

So, what happened with the companies in 2021 when there was the Corona-virus and the spreading of it to anybody? In the spring 2021, also the new airplane company «Flyr» is planning to run the competition with a company, and they need airplanes to join the aviation in Norway. Behind any airline company in Norway, there are people with their background from SAS, Norwegian, Widerøe and Braathens. Their vision and mission is to have flights to cities and town in Norway from any destination place A to any destination place B. And there is also a goal and a mission of joining the aviation with places in Europe, from Norway to another country in Europe, and from the another country in Europe and back to Norway. Norway is the way in north. And we should work as much as possible while we are in the ages of working, and we should use our backgrounds from business schools and colleges and universities to make the best image and brand image that are possible for making and taking the competition in the air. And professor Michael E. Porter by Harvard Business School is much responsible for producing the models, the product quality and the service quality, that we have expectations within.

We are doing much on the landscapes, in the oceans and the seas, and in the air as the philosophy of doing business with persons, people working in buildings and objects really has been through many years with experiences of different manners and types. In 1799, George Cayley set forth the concept of the modern airplane as a fixed-wing flying machine with separate systems for lift, propulsion, and control. Cayley was building and flying models of fixed-wing aircraft as early as 1803, and he built a successful passenger-carrying glider in 1853.

What things on the earth were people really inspired of when flying the airplanes and doing business with airplanes, although people are also using their leisure time when flying on their own, and doing training in the air? Airplanes began to use biomimicry as a concept. Engineers looked at birds and mimicked their wings, shape and mode of flying. After some time, men were able to form airplane wings and bodies that looked almost like a bird. The shape of birds helped to solve a problem that had existed in the world. So, the birds are the model of flying, and we are trying to make the airplanes equally static and dynamic as the birds, and therefore there is coming new technology for the airplanes from time to time.

The air transportation subsector is part of the transportation and warehousing sector. Industries in the Air Transportation subsector provide air transportation of passengers and/or cargo using aircraft, such as airplanes and helicopters. The subsector distinguishes scheduled from nonscheduled air transportation.

How do the airline companies earn money in the long run? The prices of the different tickets for the people taking the airplanes multiplied with the quantity of people being within the airplane should cover the costs of running the airline company. In addition, the airline company in question is selling different products from their sales catalog. And there are several things you can buy, for instance mineral water, beer and sunglasses just to name a few of them. And the costs of any airplane is mainly the salary to the employees and the fuel for the aircraft. And any airline company has its different types of revenues and different types of costs, just as another company doing business with other products and brands.

There are many airline companies in the world, and you can find them when travelling in different countries. The ten largest airline companies when coming to the revenues are:

  • Delta Air Lines, United States
  • American Airlines Group, United States
  • Lufthansa Group, Germany
  • United Airlines, United States
  • Air France–KLM, France/ Netherlands
  • IAG, Spain/ UK
  • Southwest Airlines, United States
  • China Southern Airlines, China
  • All Nippon Airways, Japan
  • China Eastern Airlines, China

And Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways are the best airline companies in the world when coming to pleasure, convenience, service and quality! Good luck to everyone being engaged with the aviation, and we want happy moments for everyone when flying with the airline company in question with one of its airplanes.
