Hello guys, hope I meet you all doing good?

Its been over two weeks since the quarantine began here in my country, and since then I've been home with my parents. Basically, I'm a student who's studying electrical/electronic engineering, and so far my primary aim has been focused on studies while in school. It has been difficult for me merge my studies with my side hustle and other skills I've been wanting to learn because of the broadness of my course, and due to the fact that I newly just gained admission into the school I am presently now. And the process of getting to understand the system of the school and how things work there has also been q distraction for me to consider acquiring a new skill.
In all, time has been the major hindrance why acquiring new skills and involving in some other side hustle hasn't been possible for me. But here comes this golden opportunity called "quarantine" and it has been providing me with all time I said I lacked then, but still I've been slacking rather than talking full advantage of this time. I could remember coming across a picture kind of motivational quote by Keion D. Henderson, which says;
If you don't come out of this quarantine with:
- A new skill
- Your side hustle started
- More knowledge
- You never lacked time, you lacked discipline.
Those words really challenged me a lot. It was then I geared myself up and started writing on my Hive blog. Honestly, if it wasn't for this quarantine I don't think I would have publish up to that amount of content I presently have on my Hive blog. I don't just want to write on my hive blog during this period of quarantine. I want to become that Motion Graphics Artist I've aspired becoming, I want to graduate out of school with that topmost grade, I want to become that engineer I've dreamt of becoming, and the list goes on and on like that. But all these would never be achieved without putting in action (work). That's why I decided that I was going to participate in this "Quarantine Challenge Initiative" and make use of the is opportunity to set some achievable challenges for myself during this period.
Challenge(s) I'm setting for myself during quarantine
Due to the uncertainty of how soon the coronavirus pandemic will be over, I'll be restricting myself to only these two major challenges.
Challenge Number One: Completely Finish Adobe After Effects CC Motion Graphics Course.

Video course containing twenty four (24) sections, with at most twelve (12) videos per section and at most twelve (12) minutes of watch time per video.
Challenge Number Two: Completely Finish Studying My Advance Algebra Outline.

Outline contains nine (9) chapters with at least five (5) subtopics per chapter.
How I plan to accomplish these challenges
For my first challenge, I'll be dedicating at most 4 hours of practice from Mondays to Saturdays to it. Asides from Wednesdays which will be 1½ hours, Due to the lengthy online lecture organized by my school.
For my second challenge, I'll be dedicating at most 2 hours of study to it from Mondays to Saturdays. Asides from Wednesdays which will be just an hour, Due to the lengthy online lecture organized by my school.

A hand-written time allocated for accomplishing my challenge which I affix to the wall in my room.
I'll be strictly abiding to these allocated time for the next three weeks in order to successful achieve my challenges. Both aim are to finish the course/outline. I couldn't appoint a specific time of the day in which I'll be carrying out each task because of my school's online lectures. It starts mostly by 10am and runs for as long 4hrs or more. So allocating a specific time will be a fail of plan on my end. I also didn't consider putting a long hours of study in Advance algebra because after the online school's lecture, my brain wants to do something entirely different from academics.
Milestones for accomplishing these challenges
For the first challenge, I've previously covered nine (9) sections out of the twenty four (24) sections before I gained admission into school, so l'm left with fifteen (15) sections to go. So hopefully for each week, I should be able to cover 5 sections. So, my milestones would be on a weekly basis;
- First week: Section 10 - 14
- Second week: Section 15 - 19
- Third week: Section 20 - 24
For the Second challenge, I've previously covered only one (1) chapter out of nine (9) chapters, so l'm left with eight (8) chapters. So hopefully for each week, I should be able to cover 3 chapters. Yeah, its possible. I previously completed chapter five (5) in just a day in which I fully understood too. So, my milestones here would also be on a weekly basis;
- First week: Chapter 1, 2, & 4
- Second week: Chapter 3 $ 6
- Third week: Chapter 7 - 9
When to expect possible results
With full seriousness and dedication to my outlined plans for accomplishing these challenges, I'm of no doubt that by the First Day/Week of May 2020, I should have successful accomplished my desired results.
It's a pleasure to have successful set some goals/challenges for myself with the aid of this initiative. I'm anticipating and looking forward to achieving all my set challenges by the proposed time. Till then .....🖋
