RE: Outbound engagement (Thoughts from my car)

in OCD4 years ago

I've had so many of those comments on discord. Almost always they make no effort being posting and running. It's tiring saying the same thing all the time. Sometimes they even turn on you slightly as if you are holding back some massive secret. Lol

Oh yeah, the upvote wizardry we're using...I know it well. It's laughable, but then not...I mean, our survival depends on this, on people. We need to push harder.

A challenge about three pictures of places you've been, or some such thing doesn't teach the masses how to engage better...It just gets a few more posts up then people lapse into their old habits of failing to engage. All of those challenges are the same. People need to comprehend the importance of engagement, and understand how to best do it.

Thanks for your comment, I can see that you're a master-class engager. Hey, guess what broo...Faith is watching Braveheart in the next room. (My favourite movie.) Love that shit!

FREEEEEEEEEE...DOMMMMMMMMMMMM

Lol.

P.s. I swear I saw you in the second rank, next to the bloke with the blue face...You had on a kilt...And a big pole. The pole was for fighting...Not...Well, you know. Lol.

Hahaha!! Braveheart is an awesome movie. I totally remember it stoked a wave of resentment against the English. Terrible stuff. Although kinda amusing.

I am with you on the challenges. I don't usually like them because it just gets people to do stuff to a script for rewards and the general quality is never great.

You are totally right, we need the engagers not the dump and run'rs!

Now where is my big pole..? :0D

Challenge shmallenge...There needs to be something more productive and sustaining...I don't know what, but the dump and run ethos you mention needs to stop.

Be careful with that pole mate, you might attract attention you don't want...

P.s. It's not under yer kilt mate...Or is it?

I will be in trouble if it is, the kilt is in a cupboard upstairs!!

Lol...Yes, hopefully your curtains are closed.

You know, I had a tactical kilt a while back. I wore it in a shooting competition. It's basically a kilt, but in desert sand colour with pockets and stuff, like tactical trousers, but a kilt. I looked smashing mate! Me and three mates did it for a lark. I'll see if I can dig up a picture. Good times.
