Welcome to Round 41 of Let's Make a Collage!

The LMAC community keeps growing and welcomed 22 new subscribers since last week! The number of entries has cooled off a bit but remained at a strong level with more than 40 original collages submitted to the last round. Thanks to the second highest community bonus in the LMAC's still young history a total of 95 HIVE could be awarded in prizes to the last round's participants.

So we are in good shape and yet, let's work together to dwarf these numbers in the weeks to come. I'm sure every LMACian knows a good handful of Hivers who have not yet engaged in our contest - so let's fix that! :)

Before we get the next round started, the usual (important) reminders:

Make sure to set the LMAC community (-> account @hive-174695) as 20% beneficiary in your entry posts. Only then you are eligible to receive the community bonus if you make it to the podium. 100% of the proceeds will be added to each round's prize pool. The growing LMAC community will thank you for it!
A curation trail has been registered on hive.vote to further support all valid submissions to the LMAC. By following this trail you will support all LMAC contributors but also receive a decent boost on your curation rewards by frontrunning a vote by me (@shaka). Find all details about the LMAC curation trail -> here.
Entries which fail to unambiguously document that all collage elements used are free of any copyright protection will not be shortlisted! It's up to the contributor to proactively provide all sources in their entry posts.
All entries need to be posted to the LMAC community to be considered for the challenge. To help increase the visibility of our community please avoid cross-posting.

The above photography needs to be the starting point for any further modification. I provide it for free use without any copyright protection.
📌 Entries need to be posted to the LMAC community and should contain a reference to this post.

Nice to see this growing more and more. I am wondering: How the number of entries compares with the best time on Steem? Is it larger?

Nice castle in the picture. I will show it to my boys. Their "current dream" is to visit a castle. We tried with Versailles last Sunday but only stayed in the garden (too crowded for the castle). However, I know they would prefer an older castle.

(I will try to share some pictures, especially from the @lesmouths-travel account that needs a little bit of resurrection, maybe next week.)

Twenty years ago I visited the Chateau de Vincennes. The place was deserted then. This was once a royal residence...perhaps not the kind of castle your boys are interested in, but still quite impressive (if you haven't visited it yet).

Thanks for the suggestion! This is way more similar to what the little ones expect. I am still unsure about what we will do for the summer (my number of vacation days is quite limited) but I definitely put that on the list!

I will try to write a Versailles post if time permits ;)

Hi @lemouth, I took a few days off and was out in the sticks :)

Regarding the number of entries, those went up a lot after the migration to Hive. I just checked and the last three rounds on Steem had about 10 entries each. From the top of my head it were 15-20 entries during the best times so a significant improvement compared to that as well. And it seems that current round will set new records. Let's see...

Don't worry. It is often good to be away for a couple of days. I often do that over the week-ends... but not always.... Actually, I should do that more!

Thanks for the statistics. I also have the impression that things have gone up with STEMsocial. I have written a few scripts that I may run by next week, to see whether we stand. But first, I need to deal with this Versailles post (the pictures are now on the computer... progresses have been made ;) ).
