Welcome to a new round of Let's Make a Collage!

The LMAC community keeps growing, now counting 2250 LMACians! An amazing 250 participants supported our community prize pool with their contributions to the LMAC and the LIL during the last week. This allows us to award substantial prizes worth 208 HIVE in this round!

Thank you all for supporting the LMAC and thus the Hive! Whether you are an LMAC or LIL contributor, LMAC trail member or stakeholder who supports us with your upvotes, the LMAC's success is owed to every single one of you!

The LMAC Image Library (LIL) is a great new resource in the LMACsphere and we will continuously accept and reward your contributions. If you would like to catch up with the LIL and its rules please start 👉 here.

❗️ We highly encourage all LMACians to use LIL assets in their collages and will provide additional rewards for doing so:

  • 📌 Any graphical element that is added to the template either needs to
    be your own original work, or derive ONLY from the LIL or one of the 👉 whitelisted public domain image services!
  • ❗️ Sources for all used materials need to be linked in your entry post. Otherwise your entry can NOT be put up for the final vote, nor will we support it with our trail vote!
  • All sort of editing, modification and/or manipulation is allowed as long as no copyright is affected.
  • 📌 Entries need to set the @lmac account as 20% beneficiary to receive support from our trail and to be eligible to receive contest prizes.
  • 📌 Entries need to be posted to the LMAC community.
  • 📌 Submissions need to be linked as a comment to this post. Make sure that your collage is displayed in that comment!
  • 📌 Include the #creativecoin tag to benefit from additional curation through a 70k CCC delegation to the @lmac account by the Creative Coin Fund.
  • ❗️We highly encourage all participants to use LIL assets in their collages and will provide additional rewards for doing so:
    • The contributor of the LIL assets used in your collage needs to be set as 2% beneficiary.
    • In turn, collages using LIL-assets will be supported with a higher vote weight by our trail!
  • ❗️❗️❗️By submitting your contribution you warrant that your artwork is in your sole ownership and that is free of any copyrighted material. Every participant in the LMAC contest further agrees to hand over their artwork into the public domain and that it can be copied, modified and distributed by others, even for commercial purposes, without requiring further permission.

Good to know:

  • ❗️If you contribute 5 times to the community bonus during a three month period, you become eligible to receive the LMAC Contributor Badge for prize pool supporters. If you believe to have met this requirement, please comment to this post and provide the links for the respective 5 entries of yours.
  • A curation trail has been registered on hive.vote to further support all valid submissions to the LMAC. By following this trail you will support all LMAC contributors but also receive a decent boost on your curation rewards by frontrunning a vote by me (@shaka).     Hello @hdprinter,
    In order to be in the contest (considered for a prize) and supported by the LMAC vote, you need to designate LMAC as 20% beneficiary. Plus, you need to indicate where all the different elements come from. We need everything to be public domain, and we need to be able to ascertain that each element is public domain. Also, if you use images from LIL, it is expected that you designate the authors of that image as 2% beneficiary.

    I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. I know you are getting used to Hive and the different communities. Sometimes it's hard. I do like the idea (in your collage) of people out for an afternoon, and the pets also. A peaceful, restful image. Next time you'll get it right, I'm sure.

        Of course. Be sure to read the rules. I have forgotten in the past to designate LMAC and I had the same problem. We all make mistakes.

            Hello @nicholasrichards,

            I am a writer. That's my 'thing'. I've even written and published (self) books. But this is not beyond us. This is fun. Even if you don't do well, by your own standards, you will grow if you try your hand at this. I have learned over the last couple of years to express myself in a different language. I'm not proselytizing. I'm sharing :)
