Saving money is the most useful and very rare skill in the modern world. Since we live in an era of the financial and political crisis that has rapidly swept through almost the entire civilized world, it doesn't matter how much you earn today, tomorrow everything may change. Therefore, you need to learn to limit yourself from unnecessary expenses under any circumstances in order to take care of your future. The saved money, if it does not save you from the crisis, will simply become a useful investment in the desired acquisition. Here are 25 tips on how to save money and keep your budget.

1. Save small money

Every day during the year, save some of your small change in a piggy bank or regular bank. This will allow you to accumulate a decent part of the emergency fund at the end of the year.

2. Keep track of your expenses

Keep all your receipts and, at least once a month, make a list of all your purchases. Then ask yourself if it made sense to buy some of these things. Try to avoid this waste next month.

3. Consider shopping

Never buy expensive items on impulse. Reflect on each expensive purchase for at least 24 hours. Acting on this principle, you will never regret expensive and unnecessary purchases. entertainment and more. This will help you avoid purchases that you do not need, and what is left can go to the emergency Fund.

4. Divide the amount of the item by your daily wage

This is the best way to avoid making an expensive purchase. Calculate how much money you make per day. And then divide the amount of the desired item by your daily earnings. Consider if another pair of shoes is worth 20 days of your hard work?

5. Make Lists of Short Term Goals

Make a list of things you need to get as soon as possible and stick it on your mirror or refrigerator. When you have this list in front of your eyes, you automatically start avoiding unnecessary expenses and saving money so that you can only get what you need.

6. Do not be lazy to look for cheaper things

This applies to clothing, equipment, cosmetics, tools, and everything in general. You will definitely find a store where the same product costs a little cheaper. It may not make a big difference, but if you put together the overpayments on all your purchases, you get a rather large amount that you pay monthly for your own laziness.

7. Look for inexpensive gasoline

Always compare prices at different gas stations or equip your car with a gas installation. You will be surprised at how much money you can save.

8. Use public transport or walk

If you have a short trip, use public transport to save on gas for your car. If you don't have a car, walk wherever possible, so as not to spend extra money on travel in minibusses, taxis or metro.

9. Check the fares of all airlines

If you are traveling by plane, never limit your search to one airline. Check budget options, look for promotions and discounts, book in advance. If air travel is your personal whim, save money, and choose a comfortable bus trip. Thus, you will save half of the planned transportation costs.

10. Borrow books and magazines from the library

Better to borrow books and magazines from friends, at the local library or download them from the Internet. In the modern world, when literature is very expensive, you save yourself from buying, which is useful, in most cases, only once.

Hello friend, excellent advice, the truth is that sometimes it is difficult to save money, I think it depends a lot on people and circumstances because in some countries it is almost impossible to save. Thanks for sharing. Greetings!

Hello @vvarishayy
It seems like a lie, but what you said in point number 1, I have a recent experience. I don't own my own house, I live in a rented house, and I pay rent for it, and I have to pay on the 2nd of every month. In my job they are supposed to pay on the 30th, and no. I often get paid on the 2nd of the following month, I always collect coins in a glass container similar to the one in the picture, every time I come in from the street, I put them away. I had something collected in bills, but not complete for the lease, I remembered what I had saved in coins and completed the lease... yes, doing that thing of saving even if the coins are, is a great weapon for our finances.

That is an example of compound effect. My uncle had a box in which he used to save some money and he saved 100000 PKR. Isn't it amazing
