Back to the Grind

in EXHAUST2 years ago

Hey All!

Bear with me as I’m completely new to the blogging world. Thankfully I’m a bit more familiar with the fitness universe. I’ve recently started to get back into fitness and figured what better way to stay on track and hold myself accountable than posting to a community of people with the same ideals.

So with Macros calculated, and a plan in place, I’m back on the grind. Keeping a routine is nothing new as I’ve followed a similar plan to drop nearly 70 lbs in the past but this times different. With just about a year to my wedding I’m more motivated than ever to get dialed in.

I’m planning (hoping) to post here weekly for my own motivation and if I can help motivate someone else along the way even better. So without further ado, stats:

Starting weight: 231.0
Goal weight: 185.0
Current Macros: 235g Protein, 154g Carbs, 59g Fat

I’ve previously done all sorts of fad diets and really did love going Keto but for my own mental health (and love of pasta) I’ve decided to go back to Macros, or Flexible Dieting. Here’s to getting back to the grind!

Hey @plop94 thanks for sharing and I am looking forward to hearing more about your experience. Keep going and good luck. !LUV

Thanks! Hoping this keeps me more accountable in the long run!

good luck on your journey.i hope everything goes easy for you.if i may ask...what is your daily caloric intake?

About 2100ish. Trying to follow the 1g per lb of protein and .25g per lb of fat. My TDEE is like 2500-2600ish

Perhaps i am wrong but arent you overdoing it with the protein?i went from about 190lbs to about 160lbs in 3 months, from 28% body fat down to 12% and i was eating about 115g of protein a day.my caloric deficit was 1000kcal per day.i converted kg to lbs in my head so it could be a bit off.

It’s possible. My main goal is a body recomp overall. I’ve always had decent muscle mass and a good strength background so I’m hoping to maintain as much muscle as I can. I don’t mind the cut taking a while plus I prefer eating protein over carbs lol

Hi there, @plop94. This is @proteancreator from @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team. We saw that you already posted your first blog here in Hive! Congratulations on your first post!

I noticed that you don't know the first thing to do (and it's okay!)... so here's a guide:

The best way to start your journey here in Hive is do an awesome ✨introduction post✨. You can choose on whatever information you would like to share and be creative as you want to be, and you can do that by adding a lot more details like:

  • When and where did you first hear about cryptocurrency?
  • Who introduced you to this platform? Mind mentioning the username?
  • What are you like in real life?
  • What are your expectations in Hive?
  • What do you want this platform to expect from your content? 😊

This would help others know you are a real person (we have lots of issues with spammers and scams ) and be more comfortable with supporting your work. 😉

It's also best to subscribe to other Communities you like and share your blogs there to have a wider range of audience. Or you can check out the Communities Incubation Program.

Also, letting you know since content on the Hive platform is monetized, using other people’s ideas or images could be considered as an offense and which is also viewed in a serious light on the blockchain. Here is a useful collection of resources about how plagiarism and abuse is viewed and handled on Hive.

If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: Newbie guide. If you have questions, you can hop into Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions. Feel free to tag @lovesniper @proteancreator once you have made your awesome ✨introduction post✨! See you around.

Eyyo!! giving you a follow :)
