Home Are Memories

in DCooperation2 years ago (edited)

Reading through the @merit.ahama blog, so I came across this contest talking about home and I decided to give it a trial because we are talking about the home here.

While reading @daniky blog, something caught my attention in her write up title I.A.A.C 183: Celebrating a Friend of Virtue & Life lessons I learned from His Lifestyle he said

Life is a mirror it shows you back to yourself and that means there's no hidden thing under the sun. It pays to make a move in life and never relent on whatever good path you've taken. So be consistent, persistent, focussed, resourceful, and diligent in whatever you do and wherever you find yourself in life as these will pay you right for life. Never underestimate anyone in life because you never know what tomorrow holds for them. It takes a second for a life to get transformed. David's victory is one of the big lessons to many. Despite the thrive and hardship he encountered for many years, he got his victory.

Daniky was writing about his friend who was lucky to get a job in an oil company despite the hardship and the unemployment in the nation. A striking thing he said about his friend was about how he never underestimates people no matter what and that is the best thing anything can ever have as characteristics.

We must learn to accept people and never look down on anybody we come across because the people we come across in life can one day be the people we call home.

For me, I know that home isn't a structure as some people always think, but home is the people we are in a relationship with. It doesn't matter if we are related to them by blood or group of friends. And how our he's in us, is through the memories we shared with them which are stored somewhere in our hearts and at the time we are far away from them by distance, they will always remain dear to us in our heart.

For me, a home is not the structure people live in but a home is a group of people who love each other and are dear to themselves. Home could be anyone who we are close to.

For someone who has not really lived with my parents and siblings for years, saying home is a structure would be the wrong use of the word because there are days I miss them and all I have to do is call them and it gives me peace of mind hearing from them.

My family and friends are my home, not the structure of the building but the people who I am happy being around with no matter our flaws and differences.

The memories we share, our dinners, our fight, our laughter, our sadness makes them home. Even when we leave to a far distance place, we would feel their absence but not too much on us because we left with those things well stored in our heart.

In my own opinion, I think people should consider the people that make them feel at peace and comfortable at home. And yeah, I am always ready to leave my house which is a structure but not my home because it goes with me everywhere I go. You can't just leave your home because they are memories stored in your heart except you don't value them and the best place to live in is a place people make you feel at home.

This is my entry for the DCC contest and you're invited to participate in the contest as well.

Thanks for reading!!!

Hey, please choose someone else to promote from #home. Or if you don't find in #home, try the synonyms I mentioned in the contest. There is a rule saying :

  • Don't promote other entries of the contest, but find a post to promote in #home or any related tag.

@merit.ahama is participating in the contest, and you promoted her entry.

Okay, I will look into that. I am sorry for going against the rules, I guess I did not understand better.

Don't worry, you still can edit this post. I'm checking it from time to time to see the change. There are so many people to promote in #home , #earth , #country , #city and other related tags. I'll check this post tomorrow again. You still have a few days to edit it.

I have just edited the post. Thank you.

Well done. But, please edit the link of the post promoted. It should look like this : I.A.A.C 183: Celebrating a Friend of Virtue & Life lessons I learnt from His Lifestyle. That's the clickable link to the post.

To do that, you have to put the title between this [ and this ] and then directly the link between this ( and this ).

Or just copy the following that I prepared for you :

[I.A.A.C 183: Celebrating a Friend of Virtue & Life lessons I learnt from His Lifestyle](https://hive.blog/hive-155221/@daniky/i-a-a-c-183)

I hope you learned from this how to create a clickable text. Thanks for participating in the contest. I hope to see you more.

Yeah, I did. Thank you and I have just edited it.

Thank you for featuring my post @carlynn. It's indeed awesome to get to see an author go through one's post and feature it in a contest.

"My family and friends are my home, not the structure of the building but the people who I am happy being around with no matter our flaws and differences.

The memories we share, our dinners, our fight, our laughter, our sadness makes them home."

Of a truth a home is never composed of the physical structure or building but your loved ones living in peace and harmony despite the imperfections, flaws and Challenges of life. Thank you for such word of wisdom and lots of love @carlynn
