Mkpouto and ikedi later that day they have a late night meeting but it turns out sad between them, ikedi was able to confuse mkpouto to the inner chamber,
Mkpouto felt something wrong she was scared she needed to know the purpose of ikedi invitation. Mkpouto got suspicious she needed the assistant pastor to tell her what is the invitation all about, she was worry because she didn't want her father to look suspicious of her well about.
Ikedi got close to her, saying do not be worry but mkpouto told him that he should say what he want to say, she did not tell her mum before living the house. Before mkpouto start feeling suspicious, ikedi grab her hold her two hands and her mouth she could not breathe or say a word, ikedi took advantage of her mercilessly. Ikedi saw her face, she was in pains and emotional depressed after he was done taking advantage on her, he started feeling sorry for her, "he said" my love am so sorry I couldn't hold myself anymore, after seeing the beautiful short wears she put on everyday. He started apologizing.
In all the apologies mkpouto told him as she cries out you will pay for this. Ikedi pleaded please don not tell your parent, I will take care of this shit.
Mkpouto try to manage her self to get home silently not allowing her parent to know about it, later that day she woke up the pains was in her, she cries but she try to wipe out the tears off her eyes and she cleans her self after blood as stain on her body.
Mkpouto stated avoiding ikedi since that incident occurs, no calls, no errand, no going to learn music any more. One morning ikopima her mother notice the sudden hatred she had for ikedi she felt may be she tired of the errands, or there something wrong with her. Wisdom was 10 years old, mkpouto junior brother. Ikopima was in the kitchen he called wisdom, can you do me a favor, wisdom stated imagine what kind of favor after all is house chores.
Ikopima told wisdom take this food to the assistant pastor, but she noticed that this errands was for mkpouto why would ikopima sent her the errand, but she kept quiet and take the food to ikedi the assistant pastor, after, she came back ikopima ask her the errand I sent you have you succeeded she said yes, she as no choice because she just a little girl who was pick to take care of.
The experience which mkpouto had in the hands of ikedi would have died a natural death.
Usendia as no choice to report the incident to the village authority called Nkaakad village head, Usendia kept distance from his wife, only took meal from her because he had no choice, he started blaming his wife for his only child death, all the sufferings we pass through you decide to do this to me, unfortunately and unknowingly he saw him self struggling with his wife neck. He woke up and say God what is my crime.
