Another week of architecture.
I have made a habit of leaving this day for architecture.
Not for anything special, but because I like to make tickets for all my friends, that keeps my mind active haha what is missing.
But today it touches palaces
The Royal Palace of Magdalena
It is not an old palace since it was built in 1909, at the end I will put all the technical data that I have studied for you.
But let's start with experience.
Located on the La Magdalena peninsula, Spain, which is the northern part of our country 100 kilometers from our house and I had the opportunity to visit it again this summer.
The palaces are not only composed of their architecture but also of their design, their location and their gardens.
As it is a peninsula it is surrounded by sea and cliffs
You can see this post to get the idea

A unanimous agreement of the Santander City Council,
From January 15, 1908. He converted the Magdalena peninsula into the summer residence of the kings of Spain, after this palace was raised by popular subscription.
Starting in 1913, Don Alfonso XIIU and Doña Victoria Eugenia, with their children, lived here, during the summers, like other inhabitants of the city.
In 1995 the works promoted by the Santander city council for the restoration of the building were completed, with which the splendor of the time that it was inhabited by its first owners was recovered.
It is a work of eclectic style, which combines English influences, evident in the arrangement of the exterior masses, abundance of the chimneys, the shape of the windows, etc., with contributions of French style, such as the double flight staircase of the main staircase, the asymmetry of the bodies of the building, etc., in addition to traces taken from the baroque mountain architecture. Its construction popularized an eclectic-regionalist sub-style in Cantabria, whose greatest exponent is the palace itself, and which comes from the picturesque palace English of the Hornillos. The planimetric scheme is based on an elongated body measuring 91x21 m, with another that comes out to the north, 20 m on each side. Its elevations are asymmetrical and the multitude of recesses and projections give the impression that it consists of several twinned bodies.
It consists of two entrances, one to the north for carriages, with a portico, and another to the south, which is the main one, with two octagonal towers and a staircase with double sections. The building is made of masonry stone from Cueto
wikipedia

You're welcome (^_^)
feliz jueves
Hello, beautiful, at the foot of our house we have very interesting things all over Spain, I would also like to travel and see all the wonders that we have in our heritage, castles and everything we have that many times we do not appreciate.
I wait for you any day
Happy Thursday
Hello @txatxy, what a spectacular view you have brought of the Palacio Real de la Magdalena, which is more than admirable for its beauty in the design of this magnificent work of modern architecture in Spain. Although for me the eclectic architecture is in the division of the art of the nineteenth and twentieth century, I think it is really old for its proper inspiration of romanticism that takes extracts from the different artistic-architectural currents of the past. This Palace looks like something out of a tender fairy tale. A happy day and blessings to you.
Hello
If it is what the eclectic has, I particularly like the Gothic more, but each era has a style.
In Spain we have very different styles since it is a country that we could say old hahaha
But you are right about the fairy tale.
We can buy the clothes and walk through its gardens thinking that we are the inhabitants of the castle hahaha
For dreaming that there is no
Happy day and thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Hola
Quite impressive building ^^ .. if I would live there, I would go crazy having to clean the whole residence 🤣
haha Hello
The same I say, but it is because we think of the poor, if we lived in the palace we would surely have a service that would take care of cleaning.
We on the terrace having a drink and watching the sea.
Let's think rich hahaha.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting and stop cleaning that we have a butler
Happy day 😁
jaja hola
Beauty and fantasy, in a civil architecture that was able to take advantage, in addition, of the characteristics of the environment, to create authentic works of art, which are not only considered, with all merit, as a true historical and cultural legacy, but are also a waste of emotion for the senses. Happy day
Hi Juankar.
You know that the place and the environment is already special and how well cared for the palace is so white and clean.
I have always liked it a lot, but those that are truly old and with the patina of verdin and the years make them enchanted, looking at this you think of princesses and looking at those that are truly old you think of swords and ghosts, a lot of hydro honey and a full life adventure haha
good day
Hola juankar.
feliz dia
Greetings friend @txatxy. I love the way you opened your post, starting with the human experiences of the featured architecture and ending this publication with its technical information. I could simply imagine the challenges of visiting that spectacular island in times when the Cantabrian Sea rages with violent waves during fierce storms, hence, it's a huge blessing that you've traveled there during the calm season of a gorgeous sunny day. It's also interesting to know that a zoo was constructed there as the welcoming party when entering the Royal Palace of Magdalena. Hmmm, what sorts of animals could be inside? With the building's English Eclectic influences in its architectural significance, it must have been a royal treat for you - fit for a king and queen. Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic Thursday with us! Take care! 😊
Hi, friend
Today that I have time, he happened to answer you hehe
The zoo is small it has a few penguins and the seals and walruses formerly had a polar bear.
It is just a mini zoo.
Seeing the surroundings with swell has to be impressive, if you can withstand the gusts of wind.
The best thing would be to see it from the palace window, don't you think?
With a good glass of wine and good company haha
Thanks for stopping by and commenting and forgive me for being late, I'm lazy and I have little time
Happy sunday friend
The Royal Palace of Magdalena is very beautiful place. I never seen before.
There are no words to describe how beautiful is all of this.
God bless you my dear friend @txatxy
Hello
Forgive me for answering late, I'm almost out of time.
I'm glad you liked it, the palace is very beautiful like everything around it.
If it coincides with a sunny day, it is like entering a fantasy world
Happy sunday my friend
Beautiful. The façade of the buildings looks like some Lego game. The city is very clean and mesmerising, Thanks for sharing your experience, have a great day ahead.
hello
Thanks for coming and commenting.
It is a beautiful area to walk around and see the palace and the sea, it is very clean as you say, because it is a relatively new construction, for what we are used to in Europe
happy Sunday
