Yep, I have 2 days a week from home at my choice so I pick Tuesday and Thursday, to do one yes and one no, spread office time... It's a nice perk, home work is more relaxing and also to avoid all the bloody traffic of the morning, 20 minutes for 1km is ridiculous
Yeah I agree on the trust, the thing in that company is that the owners idea is that you can't trust any employee, none at all (we are one of the very few IT company using clock in/clock out, while all others rely on trust that you do your 8 hours)
Cameradie is an other good point, but I guess depending on the job, on police or military it's a must, where I work everyone works alone on a single project at his desk, everything is pretty silent, not much talking or sharing

Yeah, it's good to avoid the traffic and working from home can be more productive, for the right person.
Yep, I do way better at home, but the wife of the boss wants people on sight...
I'd want people in sure too if I was the boss, but only those I don't trust to do the right thing.
I also like the camaraderie that can come from having a team all together. I think it's powerful.
