Coffee crema patterns

JoopyKlopdingthwak.jpg

Most of us live a life that follows a similar and familiar pattern: We eat, sleep, go to work and repeat. That's life's pattern in a basic form but, of course, there's more to it than that.

Somewhere within that basic format are the other things we do and one of those things is coffee.

Yeah, I know not everyone drinks coffee and that's ok, this post isn't for you; however for those who do...well, depending on the type of coffee you drink you'll be familiar with the patterns baristas make on top of your coffee.

Today I'm asking you to share your coffee crema patterns in an image below and I'll throw some votes around on those comments and ask a few of my buddies to do the same...not sure if they will, but I'll ask.

That's it...go!

I've always been fascinated by baristas who can make patterns with coffee foam or cream, and although I don't always get one with designs when I go out for coffee, I found this photo on my hard drive from when I went out with a friend and we ordered two lattes. I think I can see lotus flowers or autumn leaves, and I love it!

I once had a barista do a picture of Richard Clayderman in my coffee.

Ok, maybe not really. 😵‍💫

You made me laugh out loud, ha ha ha! 🤣

Let me tell you, my favourite artist is Chayanne and my favourite actor is Hugh Jackman... I don't just like that pianist.😂

Well, if a barista made a face with coffee cream, he's a great artist!

These are the only two I have photos of. The one with the "G" is from Giada De Laurentiis' restaurant in Las Vegas.

Damned fine, well worthy of sneaking these onto the interwebs.

As usual my comment will be strange and unusual. Shoe 👠👟 fits wear it I say...

My coffee ☕ is iced so it has the chunky jagged look to it. No photo of it as I am out on the road rollin 18 wheels today.

Here I am destroying a mug of perfectly good coffee with cream and sugar. No worries tho as it is Truvia™ So it will only kill me half as fast.

Java Monster Mug Shot.jpg

Not often do I drink the toxic cans of deadly chemical called Monster Java™ these days. Unless they are BOGO. Too fukin' expensive.

Not really what I had on mind, but points for creativity.

Thaaazzz Right... TY 👍☕👍

I don't have any coffee patterns right now because I haven't been able to go anywhere that sells it that way, but I did want to applaud the way you invite us to reflect, and I support every word you offer.
I bring you this pattern, open to the imagination, in the coffee I just drank and share with everyone.
Life is sometimes enjoyed when we stop to delight ourselves with an exquisite, freshly brewed coffee.

I invite @abelarte and @mariatd to tell us about their experiences with coffee foam!

Just looking at a cup of coffee is a pattern in itself...well, maybe it's just a work of art.

I rarely drink coffee with milk (cappuccino) and when I do I like to go to my favorite pastry shop Gram, where I always eat ice cream (you can see it in one picture 🙂).

And why do I like cappuccino in Gram? Because with every cup they make me happy with a nice message.

Like these two "Happier for a Gram" or this other one 🙂 (for which I could give you the copyright, because with the topics you set every weekend, every weekend is really happier).

Pretty good, I'd like that too!

This is basic coffee from a shop. But it still has some patterns- I think I see something like a continent?

Interesting.

Africa Mee thinks?

Just drink regular store bought shit coffee and drink it. On a rare occassion when I will grab a gormet coffee to treat myself. However, that is usually for something special like when I go to the VA and they put me through the ringer, but have never thought to take a pic. Next time I will.

Funny thing is, I used to live off coffee. Nowadays I can't drink more than a couple cups. Stomach just doesn't handle it like it used to.

I drink way too much but then, that's how it's been for a while; sometimes I have just one more cup and think, oh shit, that's one too many. Can't take it back though. Lol.

I get that. When I was in the service, I used to count how much I drank by the pot, not cups. :-) That and dip would keep me going for days.

Suprised I don't have ulcers. It's maybe why my stomach doesn't tolerate coffee well anymore.

Never got into dip myself, loads did though. Coffee made the world turn back then for me.

As for the stomach, yours is as Marine as the rest of you, giving up isn't in it's make up. Lol.

Oh, I would use dip and sometimes put a little in the corner of my eye to keep me awake. LEarned that from an old PltSgt. It burned like hell, eyes would water a bit, but you stayed awake. Crazy shit I know. Probably why my eyes suck today.

That's nuts! But when you gotta stay awake, I get it.

Ah today I'm not even in the office to make a picture of my colleagues coffee, great patterns from the 40 cents coffee machine!

That on your photo is art... Have a good day!

Working from home today? That's handy.

Yep, I have 2 days a week from home at my choice so I pick Tuesday and Thursday, to do one yes and one no, spread office time... It's a nice perk, home work is more relaxing and also to avoid all the bloody traffic of the morning, 20 minutes for 1km is ridiculous

Yeah, it's good to avoid the traffic and working from home can be more productive, for the right person.

Yep, I do way better at home, but the wife of the boss wants people on sight...

I'd want people in sure too if I was the boss, but only those I don't trust to do the right thing.

I also like the camaraderie that can come from having a team all together. I think it's powerful.

Yeah I agree on the trust, the thing in that company is that the owners idea is that you can't trust any employee, none at all (we are one of the very few IT company using clock in/clock out, while all others rely on trust that you do your 8 hours)

Cameradie is an other good point, but I guess depending on the job, on police or military it's a must, where I work everyone works alone on a single project at his desk, everything is pretty silent, not much talking or sharing

Throwing in this one from a recent cafe visit in Seoul! They had some interesting drinks and desserts!

A pretty decent looking spread!

I usually get a coffee at the office every working day, but today, on a very hot day, I got a cup of cinnamon tea. The tea is not made in a special shapes and have a color close to orange, and the aroma is unique. Unfortunately, the aroma can't be conveyed in this picture.

Tea ain't gonna cut it on this post.

Sorry for posting it.

No need to be sorry, tea isn't coffee so it's not really relevant in the scope of this post.

To say I love coffee would be understatement.. I learned to make patterns maybe 5 years ago. I allow myself to have two daily and second one not to take later then 4pm so it would not mess up my sleep.

I have couple of pictures I haven’t posted yet but these are from few months ago - lately I didn’t take any photos of coffee I made:

Now coffee patterns from my side, sorry... Drinking black. And not crème, as I don't have a fancy machine. There might be one on my facebook page, just a second...

Found it!

From 3 years ago... I think this flower/tree/plant pattern is one of the easiest as I frequently see it on people's foam.
