This is a thoughtful and probing piece. I think the subject of colonization (and decolonization) have great merit in today's conversations. And as you rightly discuss it is both mental and physical. As Bob Marley expands in his Redemption Song: "Emancipate Yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds." The liberation struggle against colonial formations will be with us for some time. I see communities like hive because of its roots in decentralization (an antihegemonic notion); and crypto assets (as symbols of one's control over one's as providing at least a notion that we can move towards full decolonization of mind, spirit and place). Well done!

We’re colonized on so many levels its hard to really break free. Still, good to be aware and keep doing what’s possible to loosen the chains.

Wow, this is great content. I am so happy to have found you on here. We have all been colonized; we each have indigenous roots. And I think this new age is leading us back to these roots. I love this idea of colonization -- a mindset and a diseased spirit that was given a people so that a system could rule them.
