With Twitter publicly collapsing, Youtube censoring nearly every dissident voice, and Facebook being a closed platform, independent journalists don't really have a good place to go anymore to publish their work. At least not on the big centralized social media.
Because ThreeSpeak is actually something else. Connected to the Hive platform and being completely decentralized and user controlled, this platform provides you an uncensored solution. And we need to start utilizing it, because our journalists noticed the follow benefits: (just giving some examples)
- User controlled, meaning hardly any censorship.
- Fast encoding and processing.
- You can earn from the start and don't need to be "accepted" first.
- A good way of promoting your content through the Hive platform, even though that's still growing and needs to become larger.
For now we didn't notice any down sides, except for the small amount of users currently active on there. But that can change, if all of us work together. By conquering the existing social media. We believe that ThreeSpeak will then become the future for independent press.
Is it really fully censorship resistant? We aren't sure yet, but it has a good chance of being exactly that. As long as the Hive blockchain is well managed by all of us, and we defend it against intrusion, we as independent journalists will have a fighting chance. And we need it, because we are losing ground everywhere. As corporate and state controlled media took over on other platforms, we've been fighting an uphill battle and we need a way out.

Hive, 3speak, dtube is definitely the future of online social media broadcasting.. there is a steep learning curve so the growth will be slow but once the collective hive mind recognizes the positives to this system it will catch on like wildfire, Facebook will just be the empty void that it always was.
