Something I've noticed a lot over the years is the prevalence of people who know that "the government" is corrupt, who know that corruptions basically control everything in the US, Inc, and who otherwise fall on the side of not playing along with the system... theoretically. I know dozens of people who generally align in so many ways, but then they spend the majority of their content-consuming time taking in things like John Oliver, John Stewart, Stephen Colbert, etc. They literally still get all of their news directly from the core media companies. The only difference between the Daily Show and CNN or MSNBC is that one is making light of the things they're saying, where the other takes it more seriously.
The result is often quite similar to people who work jobs where their coworkers are all "normies" (people who still fully by into the belief in violent authoritarianism), so their view of the world is still basically the same as those folks, they just feel bad about/disagree with all of it. The thing is, not only is your personal experience based almost entirely on what you already believe, the mental programs you run, we are also manifesting the vibration we're holding. If you spend all your time pissed off and sad because of Trump and XYZ, all you're creating is more that.
In comes the idea of Societal Distancing - how can we move every aspect of our lives as far as possible from the narrative that the old system is telling?
I would love to hear your thoughts and insights on this. I'm thinking of putting together a little flyer to put up, similar to their social distancing ones, but pointing to the virus of statism :-)

Congrats for creating content that encourages us to think!
Our current system exists because its cause is perpetuated. When we know what's the cause we might have more chances at working on the cause.
