¡Saludos y abrazos a todos! Luego de varios días de ausencia por diversas razones, entre ellas las fallas de energía eléctrica y conexión telefónica, he aquí mi tercer post en la comunidad Diario y Fresco. Para llevar una secuencia más adecuada, he decidido fechar mis escritos, así que hoy es 24 de Septiembre de 2020, Día de la Virgen de Las Mercedes, en mi país, Venezuela.

Greetings and hugs everyone! After several days of absence for various reasons, including power failures and telephone connection, here is my third post in the Daily and Fresh community. Estas tres fotos las tomé al mediodía de hoy, cuando salí con mis perras a mi solar. Las flores del toronjil se me hicieron muy similares a las de otra planta que en Venezuela se llama cariaquito (Lantana trifolia), además me encantó verlas tan orondas al radiante sol. La mariposa creo que estaba cansada, supongo que ya estaba cumpliendo su ciclo vital y se posó largo rato en la rama, aunque yo estaba muy cerca.
These three photos I took at noon today, when I went out with my dogs to my back garden. The flowers of the lemon balm became very similar to those of another plant that in Venezuela is called cariaquito (Lantana trifolia), I also loved seeing them so plump in the bright sun. I think the butterfly was tired, I suppose it was already completing its life cycle and it rested for a long time on the branch, although I was very close
El toronjil tiene usos fundamentalmente medicinales, por eso se elabora en tés e infusiones para el tratamiento de resfriados e indigestiones. Además de esos usos, yo la siembro para que las abejas (Apis y meliponas), tengan para libar y además me encanta su olor, por eso en ocasiones la utilizo como esponja de baño, es decir, la froto en mi piel luego del baño, deja un grato aroma.
Lemon balm has mainly medicinal uses, which is why it is made into teas and infusions for the treatment of flu and indigestion. In addition to these uses, I plant it so that the bees (Apis and meliponas) have to suck and I also love its smell, that's why sometimes I use it as a bath sponge, that is, I rub it on my skin after bathing, leaves a pleasant aroma.

Gracias a tí, @sacra97 que pude conocer el reto, me encanta llevar un diario de la cotidianidad, lo que es muy útil en este tiempo de cuarentena. Saludos.
Me encanta el Toronjil, tengo una en casa y a veces me preparo un buen te caliente con ellas. Ah y es cierto, ha ayudado mucho en cuanto a resfriados, aunque soy más fan de la citronella, pero el toronjil tiene un puesto más especial. Bonita publicación Sirena, bendiciones.
Muchas gracias por pasar por aquí y leer mi publicación. Sí, el toronjil es una planta con muchas propiedades, que brinda amplios beneficios a nuestra salud, y tiene la particularidad de ser sumamente resistente a la sequía, lo cual es importante especialmente en donde vivo, donde el acceso al agua es nulo y debo comprarla a precios muy altos. No he tenido el placer de conocer a la citronella, pero trataré de conseguirla para probarla. Muy bello tu comentario. Un abrazo.
