East Beach at Sunrise
I was just looking through my Posts for the last couple of weeks, and realized I had bene out on so many early morning walks by the water here and have many sunrise shots, but I was so worried about posting too many sunrise over the beach sort of shots, that I have gone the other way and not shared many at all.
With the weather not being ideal for early morning walks for most of this week, it has given me some time to do some photo editing, including the shots I will share in this post of an early morning walk on East Beach here in New Bedford.

East Beach is a wide, sandy beach on the western shore of New Bedford Harbor, very popular in summer for swimming, Sunbathing or enjoying time on the beach with views of the Butlers Flat Lighthouse ( a post coming on that soon) or the ships and boats heading in and out of the harbor

Now these days I am not into swimming or sunbathing myself but I do love early morning walks along the beach, in this next shot you can see they have beach volleyball nets, and lifeguard towers that are manned during set hour sin summer.

Also during summer that had a water park, playground thingy setup which you can see in the next shot, I understand it was a commercial venture and you had to pay to play, but I am not sure how much it was as I never planned of trying it out

At one end of the beach is this pier, and a view of the Butler flats lighthouse i mentioned earlier

Be serious! How could anybody be tired of the beauty? These pictures are so spectacular, my eyes are warmed by their colors and it is very fortunate that you are willing to go out at that time in the morning just to share the beauty with us. No matter how many times I see what you claim is the same View oh, it is seen with a different vision each time you take it. It could be the way the light is shining on it or shadowing it or it could even be the atmospheric coloring, or just about anything to be honest with you. Any little thing that changes it makes it a whole different picture to me and it looks different to me each time. I love the Long View of the pier and I love the Lifeguard stand. To be honest with you just showing me the sandy beach and the waves rolling in kind of makes my day. Which is funny because I have my own water to look at. But it's your water and it's different and I love it all. Bring It On!

But I agree no two sunrises are the same or sunsets fir that matter which I may switch to sunset walks as it gets cooler
And you never know what you will see each time which for me makes them special each and every time

Lighthouses are awesome buildings, and I think it's great that you've got one that can be the subject of your photos. It'd be really cool if you could photo the sun through the lighthouse as if it was the lighthouse's light.
That is something i have planned for one day, havent got it yet but one day I will

That second to the last picture is really beautiful. I think the water park thing is kind of cool, but I doubt I would pay money to play on it. It doesn't seem like it would be worth it. I think we have hit the point of no return now for the cold. They are calling for lake effect snow the next couple of days.
Yeah I am the same with the water park, maybe the grand kids would have loved it, if they could get off their phones LOL
I am glad to say no snow in the forecast here, but it has come close in New Hampshire so I dont think it is to far away but its for sure getting cooler, I think Thursday morning when I normally go for my walk before sunrise the temp will be just on freezing point
Ouch, that is pretty cold for this time of year. It might be one of those years where we have snow for Thanksgiving. I guess time will tell.
I read an article the other day from some weather group predicting a mild winter, mind you 1 I never weather trust weather forecasters, and 2 I think the last year the same group predicting a harsh winter and it ended up pretty mild, so who knows I guess time will tell as you say
Yeah, I was just going to say that. They predicted a rough time last winter and it ended up not being that bad.
Will be interesting to see what we do get this year, I myself have a gut feeling its going to be a tough winter, but of course i hope I am wrong LOL
I would actually be kind of okay with a more harsh winter. I just need to make sure my travel trailer is back from the repair shop first!

Actually enjoying the sunrise is more refreshing when compared to sunset 🤗👍
I find it the same, the only reason I will likely switch to sunset walks soon is the temps dropping and pre sunrise will be below freezing point soon, whereas it may be a little warmer at sunset I find with age I feel the cold more lOL

Taking a walk in the morning is indeed very pleasant, besides the beautiful weather there is also very fresh air.
Many photos of the sun rise on you, but they all look different.

Some ask how I can go out most mornings to catch the sunrise but no two sunrises are ever the same

I used to sunsets more when I was working but now without having to rush to work sunrise walks to start the day have been best for me

I think most of these were taken with either my Tamron 17-28 F2.8 or Tamron 28-75 F2.8 lens pair
There my go to lenses for my morning walks

I'm glad you decided to share these photos. There is just something special to "sunrise over the beach" photos.
I must say, that second last photo (with a view of the Butler flats lighthouse) with the sun behind the lamp post, is special to me. I found myself going back to that photo several times!

Wow, I feel way out of my league to do this... If you didn't ask me to do this, I would have just moved on and waited for your next post. I mean... anybody has an off day...

Wow such excellent sunrises, it seems to me you live in the perfect place to retire and enjoy those peaceful early morning walks. I know you are an early riser, as am I. Anytime I visit the beach, wherever I am, I always grab my camera and head out to catch those beautiful sunrises. Shoot, I must have hundreds of them, but that doesn't stop me from popping off a few shots every time I am near the water.

I am the same with my camera, even though I go to the same spots often, I feel every sunrise is unique and worth taking photos of
