To take life is a sin, wether one is in the security sector or not because its only the ALMIGHTY GOD that has the right to do so because he owns us and we dont own ourselves 1 Corinthians 6:19 (KJV) 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
When we take someone's life we tend to put ourselves in the heart of the relatives of the victim in a bad way,so there maybe crisis or war or unrests in the environment and there is curse for killers no matter what could be the reason Genesis 4:11 (KJV) 11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand; we can see here that cane became cursed due to his actions and even GOD told us,warned us not to kill according to the book of Exodus 20:13 (KJV) 13 Thou shalt not kill. Since its a commandments it must be adhered to but failure to do so results into severe punishment just like what happened to saul1 Samuel 15:22-23 (KJV) 22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. To kill is a sin no matter the line of duty,we could prevent killing by learning some high techniques in defense and measures to be able to to disarm anyone one with weapon or a criminal.
