Deep down, everyone has #hustle within them (whether you believe it or not, it's true).
We've all tried new things. Some were successes - others, total failures. That's how we grow as humans - trial and error. That's part of the HUSTLER culture - it's in our DNA!
So, we decided we wanted to host a contest - we want to hear YOUR personal entrepreneurial stories, whether they were total home runs or complete wipeout failures. Raw, uncut, unfiltered - share your experience with the community. This is an amazing opportunity for us to all open up, connect, and learn from one another - and ultimately, GROW as HUSTLERS!
The rules for the contest are simple:
- Create a Hive post and tag @HiveHustlers in it - the post should be about your OWN personal entrepreneurial experience, whether it was a success or total failure.
- You MUST use the #HiveHustlers hashtag FIRST, and the #MyHustleStruggle tag SECOND. You're free to use any other tags afterward.
- You must be following our account (@hivehustlers) and be in our Discord - click the banner at the bottom of this post to join.
- Share the link to your post as a comment on this post - we will review it as they come in!
- Rehive this post - the more eyeballs, the better!
The winner will be chosen by a panel of members from our #HiveHustlers team on Discord, and the winner will be announced here upon post payout (as well as in Discord - so make sure you're in it!)
Failure to follow these rules will disqualify you from the contest/prize, so please follow them all - they're very easy!

We do what we do for our brothers and sisters in the community, and we felt that a "contest" like this would be a great way for people to open up, to connect and share - and for everyone to understand that 'failure' isn't really failure - its a lesson that we can all learn something from.

That is one of the main objectives of this initiative, in my opinion - to help people gain insights into their fellow community members and how we ALL experience moments of doubt, fear, and "failure" - but that each of these experiences is a lesson.
This also gives me the idea that we should host some sort of at least bi-weekly or monthly AMA, where community members with their own businesses or ventures can volunteer to share their experiences in detail. I think this would be SO valuable for newcomers trying to figure out where to start in the world of entrepreneurship.
So true, I first saw this as a way of sharing in a fun way the entrepreneurial hiccups, but I see that being super honest about our feelings, can make a big difference in the way we portray ourselves online. Everything is great when things are working out, but I had a ton on hours dwelling and feeling sorry for myself and not taking action.
Let's do that AMA, it would be so helpful. Having the chance to share with others is a great way to lessen the burden and get more clarity.

Discord is where all news breaks first and where typically our internal consensus happens, so for us, it's mandatory.
