Primero, ¡Feliz Día de San Valentín!❤️ Más vale tarde que nunca. Normalmente, no celebro este día, pero admito que me encantan estas vibras de romance y amor; sin embargo, yo soy una romántica todo el año, así que no necesito un día específico para demostrarlo🫢 En mi país, celebramos el amor el 14 de Febrero, pero también la amistad, y soy fiel creyente que el amor se expresa en distintas maneras, no solo el romántico, y si vamos a celebrarlo, entonces debemos conmemorarlo en todas sus representaciones.
Por ende, fui muy feliz cuando me avisaron que se haría una pequeña fiesta en mi nuevo lugar de pasantías (que ya lo veo como mi lugar de trabajo). Como mencioné anteriormente, estoy realizando mis últimas pasantías de psicología clínica en un hospital, ya cumplí mi primer mes allí y todavía me faltan muchas semanas para culminar. Pero a pesar del poco tiempo, los psicólogos buscan integrarnos en su equipo, y por esa razón fuimos invitadas a esta reunión.
Varios pacientes fueron atendidos temprano en la mañana, y a las 10:00 am comenzamos nuestro compartir. Todos llevamos algo de comida: galletas, panes, salsas, jugos, tequeños, arepas, y una torta gigante para celebrar a los cumpleañeros de Diciembre y Enero✨ Hasta hubo un poco de música, muchas fotos, y, obviamente, dinámicas de grupos, porque algo que sabemos los psicólogos es trabajar con grupos🤭🤣
También fue un buen momento para el grupo de pasantes, porque pudimos compartir juntas en un contexto diferente, sin estar estresadas por todo el trabajo que tenemos. Además, también tuvimos la oportunidad de socializar con los demás psicólogos fuera del contexto laboral. Así que fue un gran momento. Y para mí, un buen San Valentín💘
Fue un día de celebración del amor, porque amo mi profesión y el área en que estoy realizando mis pasantías, adoro a mis compañeras, estoy amando esta experiencia, y amo la persona que soy cuando entro en un consultorio e intento brindarle una luz a cada paciente. Obviamente fue un día de amor✨🌼

Therefore, I was very happy when I was notified that there would be a small party at my new internship place (which I already see as my workplace). As I mentioned before, I'm doing my last internship in clinical psychology in a hospital, I have already completed my first month there and I still have many weeks to go. But despite the short time, the psychologists are looking to integrate us into their team, and for that reason we were invited to this meeting.
Several patients were seen early in the morning, and at 10:00 am we began our sharing. We all brought some food: cookies, breads, sauces, juices, tequeños, arepas, and a giant cake to celebrate the December and January birthdays✨ There was even some music, lots of photos, and, obviously, group dynamics, because something we psychologists know is working with groups🤭🤣
It was also a good time for the group of interns, because we were able to share together in a different context, without being stressed by all the work we have. In addition, we also had the opportunity to socialize with the other psychologists outside of the work context. So it was a great time. And for me, a good Valentine's Day💘
It was a day of celebrating love, because I love my profession and the area I am interning in, I love my coworkers, I am loving this experience, and I love the person I am when I walk into an office and try to bring a light to each patient. Obviously it was a day of love✨🌼
