Para los que somos Venezolanos y que además nacimos en el Oriente del país la Virgen del Valle representa algo muy importante en nuestra religión católica, representa esperanza, amor, entrega y mucha FE, por eso está visita a la Basílica era muy importante para nosotros como familia, así que nos fuimos al Valle del Espíritu Santo a cumplir con nuestra promesa de FE a la Virgencita y llevarle nuestra ofrenda de amor y oraciones, por lo que hoy comparto nuestra experiencia con todos ustedes!

For those of us who are Venezuelan and were born in the East of the country, the Virgin of the Valley represents something very important in our Catholic religion, represents hope, love, dedication and a lot of FAITH, so this visit to the Basilica was very important for us as a family, so we went to the Valley of the Holy Spirit to fulfill our promise of FAITH to the Virgin and bring her our offering of love and prayers, so today I share our experience with all of you!
Una parada obligatoria en nuestro viajde de vacaciones era visitar la Basílica de 'Nuestra Señora del Valle', la misma está ubicada en el Valle del Espíritu Santo de la Isla de Margarita. Está basílica es muy hermosa, tiene una arquitectura muy linda, muchos vitrales y muebles de madera, además de figuras religiosas y por supuesto el hermoso altar de la Virgen del Valle donde las personas hacen sus ofrendas, oraciones y se dicta diariamente la santa misa.
An obligatory stop on our vacation trip was to visit the Basilica of ‘Nuestra Señora del Valle’, which is located in the Holy Spirit Valley of Margarita Island. This basilica is very beautiful, it has a very nice architecture, many stained glass windows and wooden furniture, as well as religious figures and of course the beautiful altar of the Virgin of the Valley where people make their offerings, prayers and holy mass is said daily.
Al entrar a la Basílica se siente una paz indescriptible, fuimos en familia a agradecer a Dios y a la Virgen del Valle por la recuperación de Lucia que hace poco tuvo dos intervenciones quirúrgicas en su brazo y que hoy gracias a Dios está mejor de salud, hicimos nuestras oraciones y también estuvimos en parte del rosario, ciertamente como familia estos momentos son muy hermosos y especiales, aprovechamos de dejar un par de velitas para agradecer por sus bendiciones y también para pedirle que nos siga protegiendo como hasta ahora, fue algo realmente mágico.
Upon entering the Basilica you feel an indescribable peace, we went as a family to thank God and the Virgin of the Valley for the recovery of Lucia who recently had two surgeries on her arm and today thanks to God is in better health, we did our prayers and we were also in part of the rosary, certainly as a family these moments are very beautiful and special, we took the opportunity to leave a couple of candles to thank her for her blessings and also to ask her to continue protecting us as now, it was something really magical.
Luego caminamos un rato por los alrededores de la Basílica, habían muchos artesanos vendiendo joyería, souvenirs, rosarios, imágenes de la virgen, afiches de la Cuaresma, estampitas, escapularios y más, Lucia se antojo de una pulsera a la que no pudimos negarnos a comprarle y después tomamos varias fotografías del lugar, el ambiente estaba un poco nublado y el clima estaba bastante fresco así que la caminata estuvo genial.
Then we walked for a while around the Basilica, there were many artisans selling jewelry, souvenirs, rosaries, images of the Virgin, Lenten posters, holy cards, scapulars and more, Lucia craved a bracelet that we could not refuse to buy and then we took several pictures of the place, the atmosphere was a little cloudy and the weather was quite cool so the walk was great.
