Today I wanted to continue uploading the content of the gameplay I was playing on 3speak but it's down, so I take the opportunity to hit the pencil and start writing this post I had in mind since a few days ago, for my second participation in #beersaturday, and inviting godfish to participate because he was the one who made me know this beer community, which I'm proud to have joined 😋.
Since the year started I've been trying to increase my social life, and with that, beer consumption has increased as well haha.
It never hurts to reconnect with old and new friends, with a few good beers in between. So today I bring you a summary of some beers that I have been drinking and tasting in different places and moments in the last few days.
On some occasions I may not remember the exact name of the beer I ordered, nor its alcohol content.... But I do remember most of them 😄.

Hoy quería continuar subiendo el contenido del gameplay que estaba jugando pero 3speak está caído, así que aprovecho para darle al lápiz y empezar a escribir este post que tenía en mente desde hace unos días, para mi segunda participación en #beersaturday, e invitando a @godfish a participar porque fue quien me hizo conocer esta comunidad cervecera, de la cual me enorgullezco de haberme unido 😋.
Desde que comenzó el año he intentado aumentar mi vida social, y con eso, ha aumentado también el consumo de cerveza jaja.
Nunca está de más el reencontrarse con viejas y nuevas amistades, con unas buenas cervezas de por medio. Así que hoy traigo un resumen de algunas cervezas que he estado bebiendo y probando en diferentes lugares y momentos en los últimos días.
En alguna ocasión quizás no recuerde el nombre exacto de la cerveza que pedí, ni su graduación... Pero sí de la mayoría 😄.
I'll start by talking about the first ones I tried, and the story behind them.
It turns out that one day my friend @luisklarko came to visit who just a few days ago has joined Hive and published his #introducemyself , it was in this brewing moment that I was telling him about this blockchain and he was interested in knowing more, until he has ended up opening his own account. He really has a lot to contribute and has a lot of creativity, especially musical, so, I added a new Hiver to the community over beers!
I told him about going to a bar called Liquids, which I wrote about in a previous post to do a beer tasting; but in the end we ended up doing the beer tasting at home.
I went to the supermarket that day to pick out some of the craft beers they were selling, and got these:
Comenzaré hablando de las primeras que probé, y la historia tras ellas.
Resulta que un día vino de visita mi amigo @luisklarko el cual hace apenas unos días que se ha unido a Hive y publicó su #introducemyself , fue en este momento cervecero en el que le estuve contando sobre esta blockchain y él se interesó en conocer más, hasta que ha acabado abriendo su propia cuenta. Realmente él tiene mucho que aportar y tiene mucha creatividad, sobre todo musical, así que, ¡añadí a un nuevo Hiver a la comunidad mientras tomábamos cervezas!
Le dije de ir a un bar llamado Líquidos, del que escribí en un post anterior para realizar una cata de cervezas; pero al final acabamos realizando la cata de cervezas en casa.
Fui al supermercado ese día para escoger algunas de las cervezas artesanas que vendían, y me hice con estas:

Comenzamos catando las primeras cervezas:
The one on the left is called "Mata Dragon" and is a craft beer from my city, Zaragoza, "Ordio Minero" is the seal of the brewers. They also have a brew pub to enjoy their beers and potatoes, but I haven't had the pleasure of going there yet.
Mata Dragón has an alcohol content of 14%, is strong, dark, barley wine type and with a very intense flavor.
Ramblers is the brand of craft beer of the supermarkets "Dia", which is where I went to buy. It is red ale type and as the name itself indicates it has a reddish color, it had sweet notes reminiscent of caramel or red fruits, with a graduation of 6.1%.
At first we were going to share half of each bottle, but Luiska liked the Ramblers Red Ale better, and I liked the Mata Dragón, so we each finished the bottle of the beer of our preference.
La de la izquierda se llama "Mata Dragon" y es una cerveza artesana de mi ciudad, Zaragoza, "Ordio Minero" es el sello de quienes la fabrican. Tienen también un brew pub para disfrutar de sus cervezas y patatas, pero aún no he tenido el gusto de ir.
Mata Dragón tiene una graduación de 14%, es fuerte, oscura, tipo barley wine y con un sabor muy intenso.
Ramblers es la marca de cerveza artesana propia de los supermercados "Día", que es donde fui a comprar. Es tipo red ale y como el propio nombre indica tiene un color rojizo, tenía unas notas dulces que recordaban al caramelo o frutos rojos, con una graduación de 6,1%.
En un principio íbamos a compartir la mitad de cada botellín, pero a Luiska le gustó más la Ramblers Red Ale, y a mí la Mata Dragón, así que cada uno nos terminamos el botellín de la cerveza de nuestra preferencia.
We continued our home brew tasting of craft beers and opened the next two:

The beer "Co!" also from Ordio Minero, was an American pale ale and this one was smoother, with less alcohol content (5%) and also had a slightly lighter color than the Mata Dragon, but still maintained intensity in its flavor.
Ramblers' Weissbier is a wheat beer with quite a lot of body, although I wasn't very surprised by its taste compared to those brewed in Germany, but for the price and for a supermarket production, it's not bad. Here I remember that we did share more than both bottles.
La cerveza "Co!" también de Ordio Minero, era tipo american pale ale y esta era más suavecita, con menos graduación (un 5%) también tenía un color un poco más claro que la Mata Dragon, pero seguía manteniendo intensidad en su sabor.
Weissbier de Ramblers es una cerveza de trigo con bastante cuerpo aunque tampoco me sorprendió mucho su sabor si la comparamos con las fabricadas en Alemania, pero para el precio que tenían y para ser de producción de un supermercado, no está mal. Aquí recuerdo que sí que compartimos más de ambos botellines.
We were already getting hungry because we had asked for dinner to be brought home and it was taking a long time, so in order to reduce the alcohol I went to the kitchen and prepared an improvised snack with some black olives from Aragón, fuet, cheese and some bread sticks to try the last two.
Ya nos estaba dando hambre porque habíamos pedido que nos trajesen cena a casa y estaban tardando mucho, así que para poder rebajar un poco el alcohol fui a la cocina y preparé un picoteo improvisado con un poco de aceitunas negras de Aragón, queso, fuet y unos picos de pan para probar las dos últimas.
The Miller Genuine Draft is an American Lager, with a 4.7% that was quite mild combined with a bit of bitterness; but I didn't like it too much, so my friend ended up drinking this one.
The Ramblers session IPA had just the right balance of bitterness and sweetness, I liked it a lot more and it's 4.5%.
La Miller Genuine Draft es una cerveza tipo Lager americana, con un 4,7% que era bastante suave combinada con un poco de amargor; pero no me gustó demasiado, así que ésta se la acabó bebiendo mi amigo.
La Ramblers session IPA tenía el punto justo entre amargor y dulzor, me gustó bastante más y tiene un 4,5%.
On another different day I went to a bar in my city (Zaragoza, Spain) called "Mononoke Board Game Café" which is a bar that has a library of board games freely available to the consumer, craft beers both on tap and bottled, and a varied menu of homemade pizzas, tacos, nachos and some snacks for while you are playing and having a beer with friends, you can go snack or dine there. All the menu they have is gluten free, ideal to go with celiac people.
The first time I went with some friends, I didn't remember to take pictures of all the beers I tried, but this one in particular I did:
Otro día diferente fui a un bar de mi ciudad (Zaragoza, España) llamado "Mononoke Board Game Café" que es un bar que tiene una ludoteca de juegos de mesa a libre disposición del consumidor, cervezas artesanas tanto de barril como embotelladas, y una variada carta de pizzas caseras, tacos, nachos y algunos aperitivos para mientras estás jugando y tomando una cerveza con amigos, que puedas ir picando algo o cenar allí. Toda la carta que tienen es sin gluten, ideal para ir con personas celíacas.
La primera vez que fui con unos amigos, no recordé hacerle fotos a todas las cervezas que probé, pero esta en concreto sí que la hice:
This is Valhalla beer, from a craft brewery also from my city, "Cierzo brewing co". Cierzo is also called the wind that blows in Zaragoza and hence the name.
I had not tried this beer, so I chose it totally blind from the fridge they have at the beginning of the bar and I was surprised when I poured it into a glass, that it was a dark beer, intense but quite light despite its 9% alcohol.
Se trata de la cerveza Valhalla, de una fábrica de cervezas artesanales también de mi ciudad, "Cierzo brewing co". Cierzo se le llama también al viento que sopla en Zaragoza y de ahí el nombre.
Esta cerveza no la había probado, así que la escogí totalmente a ciegas de la nevera que tienen al principio del bar y me sorprendió al verterla en un vaso, que era una cerveza negra, intensa pero bastante ligera a pesar de sus 9% de alcohol.
We had to eat something so we wouldn't get drunk haha.
Teníamos que comer algo para no emborracharnos jaja.
After a few days I went back to the same bar, but this time with @noahpsique and @ninaeatshere because a friend had lent me a board game called "Today we go out partying" and I wanted to try it out. At Mononoke they also let you bring your own board game.
The game in question is about some friends who go out partying and drinking, during the game certain scenarios appear with certain rules (for example: you are in a road bar, in an opera, in a hospital...) and you have to play your cards to try to get the more drunken anecdotes the better, and the best anecdotes were given by the "flirts" we got that night. The best anecdotes were given by the "flirts" that we got that night, as funny as flirting with a nudist, an influencer or a "pile of garbage" xD.
The winner was the one who won the most anecdotes, before reaching an alcoholic coma, which was when the game ended for that person.
Al cabo de unos días volví al mismo bar, pero esta vez con @noahpsique y @ninaeatshere porque un amigo me había prestado un juego de mesa llamado "Hoy se sale" y quería probarlo. En Mononoke te permiten también llevar tu propio juego de mesa.
El juego en cuestión trata de unos amigos que salen de fiesta y beben, durante el juego van apareciendo escenarios con determinadas reglas (por ejemplo: estás en un bar de carretera, en una ópera, en un hospital...) y tienes que ir jugando tus cartas para intentar conseguir cuantas más anécdotas de borrachera mejor, y las mejores anécdotas las daban los "ligues" que conseguíamos esa noche. Ligues tan divertidos como por ejemplo ligar con un nudista, una influencer o un "montón de basura" xD.
Ganaba quien ganase más anécdotas, antes de llegar al coma etílico que era cuando terminaba la partida para esa persona.
Here I tried some beer before that I didn't remember to take a picture of, but I did take a picture of this one, and I chose it from the fridge because the design of the label caught my attention. As a good metalhead, it reminded me of the Slayer logo 🤘.
Aquí probé alguna cerveza antes que no recordé hacer foto, pero de esta sí hice, y la escogí de la nevera porque me llamaba la atención el diseño de su etiqueta. Como buena metalera, me recordaba al logo de Slayer 🤘.
I was surprised that also in beers they have a lot of gluten-free varieties, and this is one of them. Heretic imperial stout is a dark beer with a fairly strong and bitter taste, with slight hints of coffee.
Me sorprendió que también en las cervezas tienen un montón de variedades sin gluten, y esta es una de ellas. Heretic imperial stout es una cerveza negra con un sabor bastante fuerte y amargo, con ligeros toques de café.
That same day we visited another similar bar, called "Multiverse bar" which had not been there for years, which also has many board games, retro video games, many varieties of beers and mead, and unlike Mononoke this one on weekends is open until 4 am, plus it has two environments: The daytime one, quieter so you can play with your friends, and the nighttime one which is the one we went to, where Rammstein's music sounded much louder and sometimes you had to shout to hear your friends at the table where you were playing.
This time it was not a beer I tried, but a mead, but I wanted to include it in my compilation because I found it very curious:
Ese mismo día visitamos otro bar similar, llamado "Multiverso bar" al que hacía años que no iba, que también tiene bastantes juegos de mesa, videojuegos retro, muchas variedades de cervezas e hidromiel, y a diferencia de Mononoke este los fines de semana abre hasta las 4 de la mañana, además de que tiene dos ambientes: El diurno, más tranquilo para poder jugar con tus amigos, y el nocturno que es al que fuimos, donde la música de Rammstein sonaba mucho más alta y a veces había que gritar para escuchar a tus amigos en la mesa donde estabas jugando.
En esta ocasión no fue una cerveza lo que probé, sino una hidromiel, pero igualmente quería incluirla en mi recopilación porque me resultó muy curiosa:
Ganjah mead from Rasmia brand, is a cannabis mead that I did not expect to taste so much marijuana, but yes, the first sip confirmed it: it seemed I was drinking weed hahaha.
La hidromiel Ganjah de la marca Rasmia, es una hidromiel cannábica que no esperaba que supiera tanto a marihuana, pero sí, el primer trago lo confirmó: parecía que estaba bebiendo hierba jajaja
And finally, yesterday I met the friend who left me the game to return it to him and we went for a couple of beers at Beer Corner, where we ended up having dinner. Here I don't remember what name the beers had because I let my friend order me the same ones he ordered, so I didn't talk to the waiter. But they were IPA type and quite bitter.
I say goodbye with the photos of the beers accompanied by the burgers.
Y por último, ayer quedé con el amigo que me dejó el juego para devolvérselo y fuimos a tomar un par de cervezas a Beer Corner, donde acabamos cenando. Aquí no recuerdo qué nombre tenían las cervezas porque dejé que mi amigo me pidiera las mismas que pedía él, así que no hablé con el camarero. Pero eran tipo IPA y bastante amargas.

Bueno, estamos 8 ahora mismo que yo haya contado jajja, y estaba reuniendo a la gente que está en España en un grupo de telegram t.me/+XMSvX0CtC0wyYTU0 por saber cuántos somos y en un futuro organizar alguna cosilla como las que ya organizan al otro lado del charco.. By the way, starting with the strongest beer may not be the smartest way how to taste a bunch of them :) on the other hand, I see you wanted to slay a dragon while being sober, that’s very responsible. Unless you protect endangered species, obviously;)
LOL we wanted to share half a bottle of each beer each, and always combining a stronger one with a milder one, but in the end my friend didn't like the taste of the Mata Dragón and I drank it all myself. I love brown or dark beers with intense flavor and high alcohol content.❤️ Yes, they gave the beer a funny name, Mata Dragones (dragon slayer), but it didn't kill me🤣.
I too have been without time to write much on Hive but I'm trying to be active again, otherwise I will never finish my appeal and I'm already bored of spaminator.😅

Heeey me alegra ver esta recopilación de buenos momentos que has coleccionado en lo que va de año, acompañado de buena cerveza son anécdotas perfectas para recordar por aquí.
A mí las cervezas de Ordio me agrada, son una opción interesante de fácil acceso. En particular a mÍ la Co! me gusta mucho para el veranito tomar algo ligerito :D.
Definitivamente haber ido al Mononoke fue muy buen plan, me descubriste nuevos lugares y es algo que aprecio mucho. Ya ves que soy súper mala en los jueos de mesa pero donde haya comida y cerveza con gustó estaré jajajaja.
La foto que dejas te para la despedida no podía ser mejor jajaja aquí dejándolo a uno con ganas de una burger así jajaja ¡qué buena se ve!.
jaja la burguer es del Beer Corner. Encontré a amigos amantes de la cerveza artesana y por eso estoy probando tantas y yendo a estos lugares, en la próxima ya te avisaré por si te quieres venir xd
