Well it seems that I've finally gotten a break from work. It's been two weeks now. I haven't adjusted to have two days off a week. I'm not fighting it. Though I need to decipline myself. It's too tempting to sleep through half the day. Alright tempting isn't the right word. It's too easy to stay in bed.
My temperament loves a good bed. Yet I've accustom myself to working way to many hours. For way too many years. Hard work isn't enough. It'll take you so far, but having written goals. Knowing what's important, and what you want to accomplish is also important.
Though lately I'm at the opinion, that having an understanding of what is going on in are world makes a difference. You can't blindly do what everyone is telling you is the right thing. In the end it's your life. You pay the price for all the bad advice you follow.
Today was my day off. Upon leaving work yesterday, and as a favor to a friend. I went to the liquor store.
I don't necessarily drink a lot. Yet having heard rumblings of possible choas coming our way. Some time last year, I started to create a small stockpile of different spirits. An assortment of bottles, that I wouldn't mind owning. Just in case.
On the plus side, there were a few people that I did not have to buy gifts for. Not to mention. I could always bring a couple bottles to holiday parties. Without having to tap into my finances. Having a few twelve pack of blue moon, isn't a bad idea either. Just in case of course.
While browsing the liquor store, I found a few nice candidates for future #beersaturday challenges. Exploring the Cider Beer selection I discovered some interesting options.
It's a passion fruit hard Cider. Very tasty. Not as filling as the Not Your Father's Root beer.
I didn't know that there were so many types of hard cider beers. I found a few that I wouldn't mind trying.
Like the Mango Raspberry and Strawberry Lime sound good. The Rose Apple Cider sounds fun too.
Realizing I was spending too much time, wondering the liquor. I made my selections and left. After dropping of my friends beers, I headed to a nice quiet place. There's a small park near I work that's perfect.

It's such a nice spot to sit. Usually it's pretty quiet, except for the random guy who's laughter echoed of the water. It was funny, slightly disturbing, and sometimes annoying lol. Yet it wasn't a prolonged disturbance. I spent the rest of my day, parked in my car writing.

It is nice to rediscover some creativity and make time for writing. Even if it happens in a car, in a park or wherever.
I spend so much time in my car. It's the most comfortable place for me. Slightly sad, but true lol.
If the car is comfortable, it might be better than what other people have. As long as you feel good, the place is of little importance
