I have written the other day that it's been 3 years and more that we didn't visit a pediatrician for my Lil girl as she's not that sick anymore. As use a natural antibiotic which is the moringa extract but it's so odd that last Friday we went to the hospital.
That was our only picture when we went to the hospital for a check-up, it was two days after she have a frequent high fever. We decided to bring her to the pediatrician for a check-up because the dengue case is rampant in our place.
If you look at our photo she was sleeping, she was so weak on that day that she can't even stand up because her temperature does not go down it was 38-39.5 °C always which made us worry about her condition.
Before she was finally checked by the doctor, she undergo CBC and X-ray first. When the results were out we immediately went to the doctor. The doctor was checking if her tonsils are bad, but according to her, it is normal.
The doctor checks her chest, to see if her lungs are filled with phlegm. But she said that it is fine.. she can't hear any phlegm on her chest.
She's even talking to my daughter and asking her name but sadly she's not talking, just look at her face.. she's not in a good mood because her temperature is high at the moment and she's chilling. The aircon of the room is very cold when we enter causing her to chill.
My daughter is a lively kid, whenever you asked her she will answer enthusiastically but that time she's not even saying a word. When the doctor asks her if there's something in her body that hurts, she will just shake her head.
Look at her poor little hands, she was badly hurt when the nurse took her blood for a CBC test. At first, she keeps moving to cause the blood vessels to fade and the nurse has to get on her other hands again. She was scared for sure because the last time she experience it she was still a toddler, so she can't remember anything.
The doctor asks her if her tummy is aching, and she just shakes her head as a sign of saying NO. After the check the doctor read the results of her CBC and her X-RAY.. everything is normal, but her White blood cells are in the low count.
The doctor gave us a prescription for her medication. She prescribed her medicine for cough and for runny nose as well as ORS to hydrate her.
But sadly, she didn't get any better with all those medicines prescribed by her pediatrician. Her cough is getting harder, and she can't breathe well due to her clogged nose. This is why I don't like going pediatrician, my daughter is not getting better every time they prescribe antibiotics.
Right now, I gave her moringa extract as her antibiotics again and stop letting her take the antibiotic prescribed by her pedia.
I just remember, that two weeks ago she has a cough and cold as well which is why I remember writing about moringa extract as I made one for her. She was cured but after two days her grandmother had a non-stop dry cough. Later the other day, Lil girl started to feel ill and the grandma's cough went away. I suspect the virus was transferred to her. She's just got from infection and here comes a stronger virus that strikes her hard.
The granny is hard-headed too, I keep telling her to wear a mask but she didn't. This is why I always got annoyed because when they are sick, my daughter will follow.
I hope she'll get better tomorrow or the next day though, she's been absent from her class recently..what a pity, she's so excited about schooling yet she gets sick right after two weeks of attending class!
Maybe face to face classes stress her body out too since I don't think she's that used to being around that many kids despite her enjoying school. Hope your daughter gets better soon
Yeah, maybe.. whenever someone is sick in the house she will be the next. One factor din yung adjustment nya sa face to face
Aigooooo ang hirap ate kapag si kiddo na may sakit. Naalala ko dati nung wala pa ngang ibang flavor non ng tempra eh sinusuka ng anak ko kaya andaming gastos. Ang kulit din kasi ng ibang kasama sa bahay pati rito sa bahay ate pinag sasabihan ko sila mama papa na mag ingat dahil pag nagkasakit sila eh damay na ung apo nila.
Yun nga problema eh.. yung inlaw ko nakaka asar nung nakaraan nonstop cough nya di man lang mag mask. Kawawa talaga bata, sya talaga maapektuhan sobra.
Nag try nga kami nong papaya leaves extract sinuka nya lang tapos na trauma tuloy ayaw na uminom mga gamot 😥
How about mga lagundi ate? Aun ung cough syrup na nagustuhan ng anak ko kaya un din lagi ko binibili.
Sana ung mga olders jan eh maisip nila na kawawa ang bata. Nagiging complacent kasi minsan eh. Di nila alam iba na panahon ngaun.
Di rin sya hiyang don.. mataas kasi dosage nito sa antibiotics kaya ayaw ko lagi sya mag intake antibiotics.
Kaya nga, eh. Ganito ata talaga pag nakatira sa byenan.. kapagod lang pero no choice naman haay naku.
Aigooo mahirap ate kapag nasa byenan mo tlga. Kapag ikaw pa nagsalita eh ang dating sakanila for sure masama. Pero kapag ikaw naka bukod na your house your rules na din tlga. 😌🙌
Oo nga eh, sana soon talaga maka bukod na kami.. for now ayoko na lang muna mag overthink baka mamatay lang ako maaga 🤣
Ahahahahhaa as long as di pa kau pinapaalis or hnd ka naman pinag iinitan pa ni byenan eh okay lang yan sis pero syempre mas okay pa din nakabukod para ikaw lang ang reyna ikaw din masusunod. 💁✨☺️
it's time to ask people about good paediatricians in your area online like I said before. Clearly the current treatment is not working. Usually antibiotics work but here its the opposite so It's high time you guys change doctors. Maybe they are not diagnosing her issue well. It's best if you consult old and experienced doctors. So sad to see your daughter's condition getting worse. I hope you guys find a good doctor and cure her.
One more thing, some diseases when you introduce antibiotics to them will have an aggressive reaction at first and then later on it will get better. I don't know if that's what going on here. I also don't know if you completed the previous antibiotics course. I had eosinophilia and the doctor clearly said that its going to get worse at the beginning of the treatment. He was right but I pushed through and I was cured of it. It was rough, my parents didn't have much sleep for a month I think. Maybe ask the doc if that's whats happening here. I hope you already reported that the medicines the doc prescribed were not effective so that they they try new treatments.
Actually, we try different pediatrician.. like you said but still not effective. Her old pediatrician is a guy.. we try this woman, but still she didn't get any better.. I am sure if she'll not be fine tomorrow she'll be admitted to hospital. The problem is all of us are sick too me and his father..😥
Yeah if the whole family is sick the kid is gonna get sick easily sadly. I hope you read the last paragraph of my previous reply. it's actually a thing and it's best to ask the doc beforehand to prepare for it. I suggest you to complete the antibiotics course. it's very important to finish it.

@eybyoung I know you believe and have faith in herbal medicine because you use moringa extract. When my son have a on and off fever or his temperature is not going down, we will give him a papaya leaves juice/extract. Wash the leaves (not that old, not that young too). Slice into thin, dikdikin and extract its juice. One tablespoon is enough. Add honey if you have para di ganon ka pangit ang lasa.
I wanted to write an article about this peru with God's grace we don't need it now so I can't write the actual experience. Try mo sis. I hope it could help. Papaya is an antibacterial too. Yan din ginagamit namin dito sa mga dengue cases kasama din sa tawa-tawa.

Oo yun nga, hehe. Ako noong bata ako pag hihiramin ako ng auntie ko lalagnatin ako, pag-uwi ko sa amin magaling na ulit ako, hahaha! Basta check on her from time to time and she'll be alright before you know it.
Aww mukhang pumayat din sya sis... Siguro naninibago pa body nya kase siba lately sa bahay lang sila for so long and ngayon lang ulit naeexpose sa outside world. Hope shell be okay soon
