Ha culminado la centésima cuadragésima edición del Abierto de los Estados Unidos, un torneo de "Majors" que ha dejado gratas sorpresas, grandes emociones y muchísima calidad tenística, durante estas dos semanas. Finalmente se ha consumado un hecho del tal trascendencia, que en opinión de este autor, representa la ruptura del momento histórico más esperado del tenis; ese en el cual todos apostábamos a que, el legendario Novak Djokovic ascendiera al máximo e inédito "Trono", como el tenista masculino con más cantidad de títulos de Grand Slams. Record que todavía comparte con Rafael Nadal y Roger Federer, con 20 campeonatos cada uno.

Finally an event of such transcendence has been consummated, that in the opinion of this author, represents the rupture of the most expected historical moment in tennis; the one in which we all bet that the legendary Novak Djokovic would ascend to the maximum and unprecedented "Throne", as the male tennis player with the most Grand Slams titles. A record he still shares with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, with 20 championships each.
