Una introducción necesaria
En esta semana hay partidos muy interesantes y que se jugarán de una manera muy intensa porque los equipos no tienen un mañana, es hoy o nunca, y para continuar en esta fiesta de la champions deben poner alma y corazón en función de la victoria.
En esta publicación el autor dará sus favoritos en cada una de las batallas y hará sus consideraciones en torno a los equipos que continuarán pujando por ganar la Liga de Campeones de Europa, correspondiente a la temporada 2022-2023.

Este será uno de los partidos más parejos de los cuatro de los que escenificarán entre hoy y mañana y, a pesar del resultado de la ida favorable a los italianos y a su mayor palmarés no será un encuentro fácil.
Si damos un repaso por las dos ligas en las que juegan estos equipos veremos que ambos tienen una situación favorable en la tabla de posiciones y los dos equipos ocupan la segunda posición del torneo nacional. En ambos casos están practicando un fútbol que enamora a sus seguidores y es casi seguro que los dos estarán en la próxima competición del máximo nivel del fútbol europeo a nivel de Clubes.
El partido de hoy será una batalla estratégica entre dos escuelas de fútbol con características diferentes, pues, mientras los italianos presumen de tener la mejor defensa de todas las ligas y un juego posicional envidiable los clubes portugueses se destacan por su fútbol más ofensivo y con una lectura más abierta, menos ordenada y con visión en el ataque.
En la ida ganó el equipo italiano. Tal vez en el partido de hoy el club portugués aproveche la localía e intente darle vuelta al 1 a 0 que le endosó su rival.

Nunca pensé que este encuentro estuviera tan cerrado y que a estas alturas no pudiera saberse que el equipo que dirige Pep Guardiola estuviera clasificado ya para los Cuartos de Final, pero no es así. Quizás hoy los ingleses aprovechen su condición de locales y logren volver a colarse en una fase de Cuartos de Final de la competición, lo que les aseguraría estar luchando por conseguir el gran objetivo de este club: GANAR SU PRIMERA LIGA DE CAMPEONES.
Este es un encuentro atractivo, pues, a pesar del favoritismo absoluto de club inglés el club alemán tiene varios aspectos interesantes que pueden hacerle pasar un gran susto al todopoderoso Manchester City. Entre esos elementos podemos señalar el no tener nada que perder; el fútbol vertical que practica el equipo, el nunca darse por vencidos y el carácter impetuoso de un conjunto joven que ha dado mucho de qué hablar desde hace cuatro temporadas.
Pero esos mismos elementos pueden convertirse en atenuantes y puede que un equipo que tiene todas las herramientas necesarias para ganar, como los es el City que tiene un planteamiento táctico de siempre tener el balón, que sabe como nadie atacar y que por demás decida irse arriba desde temprano y anotar o, puede esperar por el desespero de su rival y marcarle en el segundo tiempo y asegurar su pase a la siguiente fase.

Desde que Diego Armando Maradona llevó a este equipo hasta lo más alto del fútbol de Italia y Europa no se veía a un club tan dominante. Quizás no lo sea en la Liga de Campeones tanto como lo es en la Serie A, pero una cosa sí es segura: Si hay un equipo con todas las papeletas para ganar la Champions uno de ellos lo es el Napoli. Ganador absoluto de su liga, practicando un fútbol muy imponente en el que se desprenden un tanto de del fútbol defensivo italiano y lo combina más con un esquema ofensivo que sorprende y liquida a los equipos.
Esta pudiera ser una temporada redonda para el equipo italiano si logra avanzar y ganar la Liga de Campeones. Y lo es porque la ventaja que tiene sobre el segundo lugar de la Liga Italiana le basta para poder decir que a pesar de las fechas que restan para concluir el torneo de liga de la Serie A es imposible que le ganen ese torneo.
En cuanto a su rival de turno se puede decir que ha cumplido una actuación muy buena al llegar hasta esta instancia. No obstante, esto es deporte y el club alemán no le regalará nada a los del Napoli, pues, como equipo alemán que es saldrá a ganar y tratará con su fútbol vertical y ofensivo hacerle daño a la defensa napolitana.

Real Madrid vs Liverpool

Muchos piensan que este combate está decidido por el partido jugado en la ida en el estadio del Liverpool, pero faltan 90 minutos y el club inglés no tiene nada que perder. En cambio, sabe que una victoria ante el Real Madrid lo puede catapultar hacia la conquista de esta Orejona y maquillar una temporada que para los Rojos ha sido desastrosa.
La estrategia de su técnico será tratar de marcar temprano, intentar marcarle un gol de vestuario y aprovechar el momento de letargo que está pasando el Madrid y el saber que entra a los partidos medio dormido. De hecho, si logra hacer lo que hizo en los primeros 15 minutos del partido de ida y marcarle en dos ocasiones será un partido muy interesante.
Por otra parte, los ingleses no pueden ser conservadores y tienen que jugar a matar, lo que significa jugar con un planteamiento táctico muy ofensivo, para intentar revertir el marcador.
Lo anterior no fuera peligroso si no estuvieran enfrente al Real Madrid, pues al incentivo que significa para el club blanco jugar en la champions está el hecho que es de los mejores equipos que juegan a la contra y teniendo a uno de los mejores futbolistas del momento como lo es Vinicius de seguro intentarán atacar y hacerle daño al rival.
Para el Madrid la Champions representa la oportunidad de arribar a su Orejona número 15 y además, mejorar los resultados de una temporada en la que perdieron la Súper Copa de España, La Liga y tienen comprometida la Copa del Rey.

Un comentario final
Entre los días 14 y 15 de marzo se estarán jugando los encuentros de ida de la Liga de Campeones, correspondiente a la Fase de Octavos de Final de los ocho equipos mencionados anteriormente.
Serán partidos interesantes, en los que pueden cumplirse los pronósticos de este autor o puede pasar todo lo contrario, pero una cosa sí será segura: serán partidos al más alto nivel y con una exigencia a la que sólo pueden aspirar los que quieran ganar el trofeo más prestigioso del mundo del fútbol a nivel de clubes.

A necessary introduction
The previous week this author made his predictions on the first four matches of the European Champions League and was correct in three of them. Perhaps there were some that might have seemed easy to predict, but I don't think so because in sport matches or fights are won on the pitch and except for the Benfica vs. Brugge match which went for the Portuguese club the others were pretty even and any team could win and advance to the quarterfinals.

Among those elements we can point out the fact that they have nothing to lose; the vertical soccer played by the team, the never giving up and the impetuous character of a young team that has given a lot to talk about for the last four seasons.
But those same elements can become mitigating factors and a team that has all the necessary tools to win, such as City, which has a tactical approach of always having the ball, knows how to attack like no one else and decides to go up early and score, or they can wait for the desperation of their rival and score in the second half and secure their passage to the next phase.
