Over the years from experience I've noticed that a consistent drop of water could take over the entire basin if left over night and this makes me wonder how possible it is for little drops of water hozzing from a tap could fill a big water basin. That means it doesnt matter the degree of your position or reputation on hive and life cycles you find yourself today. Though it might look as if things are not moving the way it should be. Never give up please.
I've introduced hive blog to many of my friends, relatives and strangers, but one thing i made them understand is the fact that Hive is not a quick-rich scheme but rather an ecosystem for those who are ready to work and interact resourcefully and diligently with other authors on the blockchain. Well, some of those we got onboarded together thrived hard through consistently and brokethrough the limit of stagnation while many opt put of hive due to the low reward authors were getting back then. Later when i scaled through the limit of no attention being the days of no reputation, i later went ahead to market hive to many of my friends and some peoplebi met along the line, but guess what; they said they needed fast money. Well, some later got onboarded on hive after a year later and are still active till date while others who got onboarded quited the platform since they were not getting the required support they needed more often despite the fact they were thought the rudiment of the blockchain and what benefit engaging with other authors within the ecosystem could bring them. ¼ of them decided to be active with some created their account and left it dormant since they were not receiving the kind of support they expected.
One thing I've learnt on hive over the years is "being interactive, consistent and persistently" at all time no matter the level. When the value of hive was at 15cents, most authors who recieves support within the blockchain earns between the range of 0.01 to 25dollars at most. Little did i know that the price of hive determines the strength of your stake. Same 25 dollar upvote of those days could earn you closer to $100 and above these days due to the geometric value of hive. Patience, diligence and perseverance are very important tools an author needs to posses. Having all these vritues are not enough as one major thing is omitted which is "act of engagement."
The act of engaging with other authors within the blockchain brings life to you and the person you're engaging with. How will you feel posting diverse articles on a daily basis without receiving any support or feeddback comment on them? To be candid, you might be moved to quit the platform because there's no mutual interaction and reward as a means of encouragement to your posts. This shows that the heart beat of hive is the act of engaging with other authors within the blockchain because the relationship you keep with people is your greatest reward.
Hive is not a place to just publish contents, sitback and expect reward on a platter of gold. No, it doesn't work that way. It's a place where mutual interactions is been established while you get to know more authors and the kind of content they create. Some author possesses great formating techniques on their post. You may never know until you go through as much as possible posts within the ecosystem. Hive is a wonderful place and a home which unites its endusers as one body.
So, Good relationship or rapport with hiveans pays better than the reward you might be earning on a daily basis because people makes you the wealth you deserve for a lifetime but a reward you earn without engaging is just for a moment.

The first thing @monioluwa told me then to note when he introduced mw to hive was that it was not a get rich fast stuff. You gotta work for it. At first, I thought working for it meant just writing good posts and avoiding plagiarism but it's more than that to remain germane to the system. In fact, now, if you check my activity on my profile - which you can- you'd see that I do more of engaging than posting. I am now in love with reading other people's posts and communicating with them 😁 than me posting contents sef.
@daniky its a good one you are doing the work of the hive-gospel, but note, not everyone can stay. If everyone stays it could be crowded ..And money feel no reach..😂😂
