En este post quiero escribir algunas consideraciones que se me quedaron pendientes acerca del evento #HiveCubaCon y mi criterio personal de su significado e importancia, así como de la labor que realiza la comunidad cubana.

In this post I want to write some considerations that I had left pending about the HiveCubaCon event and my personal criteria of its meaning and importance, as well as the work done by the Cuban community.

Como lo vi, este fue un encuentro bastante concurrido, y no solo por los miembros de la comunidad en la Habana, también participaron personas que aún no pertenecen a la misma y que fueron llevados allí por amigos y familiares con el propósito de que aprendieran lo beneficioso de formar parte de Hive y las facilidades que ofrece. Con lo cual se logró algo importante y es que personas ajenas a Hive hayan podido ser partícipes y disfrutar del evento, esto es una medida de la gran labor de promoción que realiza la comunidad cubana.
Ahhh y hasta tuvimos una participante virtual! @chacald.dcymt que estuvo presente desde Venezuela mediante el teléfono de una amiga. ¡Bravo!😄
As I saw it, this was a very well attended event, and not only by members of the community in Havana, but also by people who do not belong to it yet and who were brought there by friends and family with the purpose of learning the benefits of being part of Hive and the facilities it offers. With which something important was achieved and that is that people outside Hive have been able to participate and enjoy the event, this is a measure of the great promotional work done by the Cuban community.
Ahhh and we even had a virtual participant! @chacald.dcymt who was present from Venezuela through a friend's phone. Well done!😄
Todos los temas abordados tenían como hilo conductor dar a conocer el funcionamiento y las ventajas de Hive para creadores, desarrolladores y para todo aquel que desee mostrar contenido de calidad con el que se sienta identificado; para así promover sus creaciones, sus marcas personales, sus proyectos y espacios. En Cuba existen personas muy talentosas y en Hive pueden encontrar muchas oportunidades para promocionarse, ya que Hive es una red social inclusiva donde todos tienen las mismas posibilidades, una parte importante del evento estuvo enfocado a las muchas oportunidades que ofrece la blockchain.
Algo muy emotivo fue la exposición acerca de la importancia de Hive fuera del contenido digital, y como se puede usar más allá de ese entorno. El ejemplo de esto fue la campaña que se realizó desde la comunidad cubana para recaudar fondos y poder ayudar a los afectados tras el paso del Huracán Ian en la provincia de Pinar del Rio, y como todo fue posible gracias al aporte y apoyo de varios miembros que se sumaron a la iniciativa de hivecuba desde diferentes comunidades. Dando así una muestra de lo que se puede lograr cuando se trabaja unidos con el propósito de aportar y crear cosas buenas en función de ayudar a los que más lo necesiten.👏
All the topics addressed had as a common thread to make known the operation and advantages of Hive for creators, developers and for anyone who wants to show quality content with which they feel identified; in order to promote their creations, their personal brands, their projects and spaces. In Cuba there are very talented people and in Hive they can find many opportunities to promote themselves, since Hive is an inclusive social network where everyone has the same possibilities, an important part of the event was focused on the many opportunities offered by the blockchain.
Something very moving was the presentation about the importance of Hive outside of digital content, and how it can be used beyond that environment. The example of this was the campaign that was conducted from the Cuban community to raise funds to help those affected by Hurricane Ian in the province of Pinar del Rio, and how everything was possible thanks to the contribution and support of several members who joined the hivecuba initiative from different communities. Thus giving a sample of what can be achieved when working together with the purpose of contributing and creating good things in order to help those who need it most.👏

Mi apreciación personal del evento fue que logró el propósito de promocionar y difundir el trabajo que se realiza en Hive desde su comunidad en Cuba, lo grande y diverso de su ecosistema y todas las oportunidades que este brinda. Y dar a conocer a hivecuba como una comunidad de apoyo para todo el que lo necesite, sin pedir nada a cambio y con mucho para ofrecer, solo con el deseo de que la comunidad siga creciendo y fortaleciéndose.
Cada vez son más los cubanos que se suman a Hive. Este evento ayudo a que la comunidad vaya en ascenso y tenga más reconocimiento en todo el país, todo gracias a la divulgación y el gran trabajo de HiveCuba.
¡Me siento contenta y satisfecha de ser un miembro más de esta linda comunidad cubana y de formar parte de esta gran colmena de todos!❤️
My personal appreciation of the event was that it achieved the purpose of promoting and disseminating the work being done in Hive from its community in Cuba, the great and diverse of its ecosystem and all the opportunities it provides. And to publicize hivecuba as a community of support for everyone who needs it, without asking for anything in return and with much to offer, only with the desire that the community continues to grow and strengthen.
More and more Cubans are joining Hive. This event helped the community to grow and have more recognition throughout the country, all thanks to the outreach and the great work of HiveCuba.
I feel happy and satisfied to be one more member of this beautiful Cuban community and to be part of this great hive of everyone!❤️
