|| Extra Spicy Duck Curry ||

Today I'm gonna share an authentic Bengali dish called “Spicy Duck Curry”. It's such a mouth watering dish. Any kind of duck meat can be cooked by following this recipe. If you are health conscious then please ignore this, cause it's gonna be extra spicy. See how it looks like...

Without any delay let's get into main part of this blog....

Ingredients

• Duck meat
• Cloves
• Bay leaf
• Cinnamon
• Black pepper
• Plain yogurt
• Kashmiri red chili powder
• Turmeric powder
• Coriander powder
• Curry powder
• Onion paste
• Sliced onion
• Garlic paste
• Ginger paste
• Cumin paste
• Green chili
• Salt
• Tomato paste
• Mustard oil

Marination

At first clean duck meat properly then take a pan and put all this on it. Add plain yogurt, black pepper, kashmiri red chili powder, Turmeric powder, coriander powder, curry powder, onion paste, garlic paste, ginger paste, cumin paste, chili paste, tomato paste, salt and oil then mixed it well. Lid the pan and leave all this for half an hour.

Cooking process

Take a pan on stove and make it heat. After that put 3 tablespoon of cooking oil and heat it. Add 2 bay leaf, ¾ sticks of cinnamon and cloves, add some black pepper and fry it for 1 minutes. After that add 1cup of sliced onion and fry it until the colour has been changed. Add a dash of water into it then put 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste, half table spoon cumin paste, a pinch of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder and half teaspoon of coriander powder – cook it for 2 minutes. After that put all the marinated meat into it and mixed it well. Normally duck meat is a little stiff so for cooking always use luke warm water not normal water.

Add a bit of warm water and cook it until the gravy become thick. You have to cook it on soft hand and don’t be hurry. Duck meat always need slow cook. Again add a dash of water and slowly cooked it. After that add some green chili here and pour 1cup of luke warm water. Lid your pan and leave it to cook. After 15 to 20 minutes your dish is properly ready to serve.

You can serve it with paratha, hotchpotch, nun or bread whatever you want. It looks very delicious and super easy to cook. Hope you guys are tried it out. That's all for today. Catch you on my next blog. Till then stay tuned .Happy cooking.
