I call it an interview because these questions are about opening up and telling people your view regarding random questions. I love random questions because they allow me to touch on so many topics or discuss so many areas of life or my life. I find them interesting and a way of exposing so many behind the scenes, my thoughts and view on certain things. It's a get-to-know-me kind of thing which I like. These are the questions I gave in a comment section but I decided to make it into a proper post with more explanation and pictures.
Let's delve right into the questions.
What language would you love to listen to or know how to speak? Why do you love the language?
That would be Spanish. I love how the language sounds in my ears and have you ever listened to Spanish music? Spanish is still a language I would still learn. I've been lazy about it but it's what I know I would still choose to learn later. I have my amazing friend @littlebee4 teaching me a bit of it and we have started with the days of the week already. I know a tiny bit of French too but Spanish piqued my interest.
What's the memory you have of your first novel?
I don't just read any novel. I am very selective but I can remember picking this novel many years ago and I failed to drop that book. That would a James Herbert's "Nobody True". I would ask people to read it. It has a bit of horror though but I love the fact that the writer stretched his imagination and while reading it, I kept imagining what was going through the author's mind and it allowed me to stretch mine too.
I admire the intelligence behind this novel and how James Herbert played with words and twisted them. What drew me to the novel was what I saw on the front cover where he said he wasn't afraid to die but he doesn't want to be there when it happens. It got me thinking and I wanted to unravel what it means. James Herbert was talking about someone who had out of body obsession experience and before he got back to his body, he was killed and now trapped in another world as he was unable to get back to his body. He was wandering around and he could see his loved ones but couldn't touch them. He lived the life of a wanderer, trapped in another world while everyone moved on with their lives.
Surprise or Fear? What gives you goosebumps?
That would be a surprise. I am the king of surprises and wifey finds it hard to predict the surprises up my sleeve, especially for celebrations and even general living. She tried so hard to guess but I always go the other way around most of the time.
She gave me a good one a few years ago and for the first time, I didn't see it coming. I always know I am smart but this one, I was caught unaware. She got me real good. It was after a service in my former church, in my state before I moved to Lagos, the whole Church formed a circle around me and I didn't know because I was busy speaking with my Pastor after service. I was paying attention to him and I didn't know it was all part of the plan with my Pastor. He was telling me how much he appreciates me until he asked me to look up and everyone screamed. I felt it....oh... She got me real good.
She had planned with Pastor to distract me with discussion and of course, I can't be speaking with him and be looking around. I was listening to him while staring at the floor. It gave her the time to rally people around, and bring the cake for my birthday and still our wedding anniversary. She even invited some of my closest people which I didn't even know about. I just found them all in Church. My thought was the whole birthday thing and anniversary would be after service when we get home. Her gift was also at home. The only thing I thought about was she would just invite a few people to visit the house and I've told a few people in Church too, to come around the house after service so we could all celebrate. She planned me in her plan and my plan now looked little compared to her 🤣🤣😂😂🤣. She got me real good.
What if you have 48 hours a day instead of 24 hours?
It might still not be as productive as most people would think because it's the human thing to think we still have more time to do what we are expected to do and I am not different. Even though, maybe I would sleep more because I always work and I can produce more content since I enjoy writing and of course spend more time with my daughter to capture her moments because she always has something up her sleeves.
The thing is, I don't think a lot would change that much regarding having 48 hours rather than 24 hours. I feel people would still approach it the way they have approached their 24 hours. Not having enough time is not the problem but how we spend what we have. If you naturally don't do much within 24 hours I don't think you will magically do much even if you were presented with 48 hours.

My answer to the first question is "Japanese," I don't know a lot of Japanese, and I barely can understand a few scenetences when listening to it, but it's my favorite language after my native "Arabic." My English is good, but I like listening to Japanese more...

The way you described the novel "Nobody True" is intriguing.
I haven't read many true novels, even though I read Light Novels, (I only recommend them to anime watchers though,) one novel I remember loving both the book and the movie version: "The Green Mile."

I totally agree with your stance on 48-hour-day vs 24-hour-day, I say "I wish the day had 30/36/38 hours" a lot, but even I know that nothing will change, I'll just

This is true as I mentioned before I forgot which post humans are not built to thrive in life we are built to survive and do just enough to get by that's why we see people who sit and watch TV whole day as lazy but in reality as long as we have a roof on our head, food and water that's enough for us.
