I'm happy to see HIVE hitting almost $1.20 yesterday. Now I'm thinking about what we can do to make sure Hive hits $2 before 2022. We can understand this is a kind of short-term thinking and it's quite difficult to achieve results in short term. But we can give it a try. We can put our collective efforts towards it and detach ourselves from the outcome.
In this post, I will discuss what can personally do towards the $2 HIVE before 2022 goal. Before I carry on further I wanted to say big thanks to everyone who's part of our peer-to-peer HIVE network and contributing towards building this decentralized ecosystem. Of course, I understand that every peer in our global community has different talents, skills and passions, so everyone is contributing in their own unique way. Also, I massively respect everyone's life priorities too.
You control how you play. Not whether you win.
You control how you play. Not if people like you.
You control how you play. Not if the crowd cheers you on.
These are some ways I think how I can play towards a common goal and they are not in a particular order.
- I can create contents daily and continue with asking Crypto questions.
- I can engage with our peer's contents
- I can Tweet about HIVE
- I can engage with HIVE and the Crypto community on Twitter
- I engage with potential HIVE investors or possible partnerships via Twitter
- I can support HIVE based applications whenever possible
- I can appreciate and give thanks to our community for their efforts
- I can make sure that I keep going no matter what
- I can stay prepared for the bad days and challenging situations.

@nathanmars Hello, old friend, it's great to see you on the move again with a project to support Hive. You have a great following and people are interested in what you have to say and in helping out.
For me, the way I've been trying to increase the utility of HIVE is to join a new community every week and some time in that community, upvoting and supporting good content. Then sharing on Twitter, of course. Splinterlands has been a big boon to making HIVE a force in the Play-To-Earn field and since everyone is interested in making money, it's definitely a way to attract more attention to our crypt world.

Hive have been on a consistent Uprise since the last three/four months.
The rise we saw yesterday is a good sign. Hive at $2 may not really happen before the end of this year, but it's showing good signs and that's all that matters.
When it comes to me, I believe that supporting nice projects on Hive is a good way to make this a sustainable growth. We really have a lot of projects that are starting on Hive and they need our support.
Seriously, I would like to see Hive going Higher by the day.
Empowering entrepreneurs and encouraging innovation within HIVE are super important for growth.
I personally will have to dig deeper into the Hive ecosystem and see how I can support different projects regardless of their size.

Well, hive have got all it takes to reach $2 before 2022, but I'm not so confident it would. If it recent uprise yesterday had surpassed the previous all time high, maybe I'd be more confident it would. But I believe Hive still has the ability to attain a new all time high before the year runs out.
In reagrds to what we can collectively do to drive the price of Hive up to $2 in the short-term, I think a power up dialy initiative could help, at least 10 Hive powered up daily for the next 30 days. Maybe a personal challenge to convince at least one individual to invest in Hive. Invite a new user and more content creation could help too 🙂

If someone can convince a big investor to invest in HIVE or bring a huge partnership to HIVE then HIVE can hit $2 plus easily.

Oh! Well, 22 Days later and Hive has surpassed $3 and currently sitting above $2. I think one shouldn't be too confident with predictions of what a crypto price can get to, most especially crypto projects with strong community backings such as Hive. Crypto is limitless and it's impressive to see what Hive has done in this past weeks.
I'm so blessed to see Hive above $2
And I know my prediction of $7.77 Steem was wrong!

Social is like web2 extremely difficult to show worth. Look web2 stocks. It needed a lot of time before liftoff.

I'm still a very small fish here, despite three dogged years of regular posting. I don't really know much about how to raise the price, but I would imagine increasing demand is a good way, like anything involving money. So how about we make it a bit easier for the newbies to make money? Getting rid of the upvote curve was a big improvement, because the likes of me can support posts that make nearly nothing again. Maybe that is new enough to make the difference. Maybe that is the reason hive has gone up since the last fork.
Hive with Smart contracts feature can bring huge demand.
As long as our community is making efforts to improve our ecosystem the $2 Hive is just matter of time.

There are some momentum bots that track twitter activity and invest in coins that have increased twitter activity. If you look at Doge and Shib, it started with a jump in twitter chat and then the big boys piled in because they saw it as a momentum trade.

I would have as many authors as I could write basic how to tutorials on how to play 2 earn on the hive blockchain. I know spliter is trying not to be a traditional play2earn games but when people search long tail keywords related to play to earn and nfts they deserve to find compelling articles written on a hive blog.

Burn some Hive on every transaction... Burning any coin push the price and public attention, invite others blockchain projects to post on Hive instead of Medium or others centralized platform.

No doubt, Hive is quite better than Medium or other centralized platform.
Most of the coins that rise quickly are listed on Coinbase - that's where the big money traders are. Also, they assume that if your coin can't get a listing on Coinbase, it's not very good.
So the answer to your question is: get Hive listed on Coinbase and Kraken.
Even the few months old $SHIB got listed on Coinbase.

And there is voting. Voting is being permanently neglected on Hive. Who you vote for creates greater or lesser sell preasure. Who you vote for creates more or less Hive staked.
Given Hive is peer to peer decentralised social network, people often vote for their peers or only spread votes within certain communities. Spreading our votes massively help out community to grow and retain more people with Hive.
