¡Beware! a very daring & wild Three Tune Tuesday trip ahead not apt for cardiacs.

And probably not apt for prudes and puritans either. I am very sorry folks, but the universe is actually an inhospitable and very strange place most of the time. Where we will find all kinds of life forms from the simplest and most basic to the most unlikely and unimaginable. But I'm a curious chap and that's why I explore them all.

And today Tuesday and in this opportunity being the last Tuesday of the month. I decided to take you for an adventure ride through the wildest and most extreme parts of the galaxy. Last Tuesday I already took you for a pretty psychedelic ride. And that was nothing more than to activate your pineal gland and prime your brain with enough natural dimethyltryptamine circulating through it to properly process what you are about to witness on this unique and amazing journey into the filthy, dusty alleyways of the dark side of the universe. Yeah, there is life everywhere.

This is week 48 of the Three Tune Tuesday contest better known as #ttt driven by our resident melomaniac and good friend @ablaze that each time encourages us to share our favorite melodies publicly on the blockchain so that both he and we can enjoy together every Tuesday and we can continue adding fuel to our amazing musical library to feed the engines that builds the inexhaustible song playlists that will keep us fluttering and wandering through the universe until the next #ttt.

And that for the announcement of his contest for today, he actually mention which were his Three memorable songs from his holiday. ¡What a coincidence! I have also had holydays. I think we've all had them at some point. And memorable songs that have accompanied such holidays, I suppose we have had them too. ¿It is not true?

But well, as you know, my participation in this contest on Tuesdays has always been with the intention and the illusion of cheering you up. To uplift your mood. And in the process hijack your soul, spirit, heart, and state of mind. Liquifying and blending them all together to produce through my musical alchemy a mesmerizingly light, weightless and volatile mix of solid, liquid and gaseous elements that allows you to float faster with me through the universe without friction or air resistance until we reach our destination of the day.

And that's precisely what I propose to do today as well. Only, this time I will try to ascertain before, how much you have matured since our last joint trip in which I tried to rouse, stimulate and agitate all your natural dimethyltryptamine up all over your innerself. Because this sordid ride today through the slums and underground catacombs of the universe, certainly is not for everyone.

And I must try to determine beforehand how puritanical and prudish many of you could be in order to carry with me enough blindfolds and dark sunglasses for you to wear while we traverse the confines of the galaxy. Nothing to be really alarmed about, since I have everything coldly calculated. };)

But it is my duty to warn you, that there are many otherworldly & flamboyants beings out there in the universe that do not bear or tolerate very well being interrupted from their fun with high-pitched shrieks of frightened little girls when most of them see something unusual that they have never seen before. So, you've been warned!

Today's fascinating journey through the seamy and wild side of the universe is exclusively for mature audiences. And like all the previous ones that have already been done with me, they will also be full of light and color. In addition to the unforgettable auditory impact it will have on your organisms.

I suspect that on our previous trips together the experience was mostly simply audiovisual. That is to say, without greater weight towards one side or the other of the audiovisual spectrum. In other words, I guess you could keep your attention focused on both, the visual and auditory parts, simultaneously and indistinctly and in permanent balance, assimilating and storing the audiovisual experience inside your brain at the same time equally strong without much effort.

But well, I am afraid that this will not be the case today. Because I have the hunch that today you will focus and concentrate more on one part or the other. In other words, either in the visual part or in the auditory part, creating a kind of audiovisual desynchrony or gap/lag between the visual and aural stimuli in which you will probably want to rewind and reproduce the experience more than once to try to synchronize it and store it in your brain totally in phase.

That's why I have to make sure how many of you have really matured enough so that I can separate the wheat from the chaff between puritans, prudes and mature adults and establish with certainty the number of seats and quotas available on my mother ship for the next trip through our unfathomable musical universe.

Don't forget what I have already told you before. I am a very old and experienced stray boogie chap and cranky gandalf who has already wandered and snooped everywhere throughout the whole musical galaxy.

I have walked through all the dusty suburbs, cabarets, beach bars, fancy nightclubs, outdoor festivals and raves, shady & sleazy theaters, roadside pigsties as well as I have enjoyed all its artistic variants, genres and musical styles throughout every corner of the infinite cosmos that has crossed in my daring path. And have been those spectacles whose musical background has been enlivened by Boogie, Blues and Rock & Roll which have been the most memorable for me. And it is precisely on this trip that I will expose you to some of its intoxicating and catchy influence.

And well without further ado. Today I bring you a scoop as we head to the launch pad to kick off and begin our journey through the ether to visit the most remote, slummy and unsuspected corners of my musical universe.

¡This is how my day started this Tuesday!

Hahaha yeah! pretty foggy eh? };)

Ok, let's now turn a little to the right...

Uhm yes, the mist seems to be starting to clear up a bit.

"Let's now slowly approach to the center of the launch pad"

Oops! correct, we still cannot identify well where we are going to take off. ¿Right?

¡Alright! let's lower the viewing angle a bit to see what happens!

Oh! ¡There you go buddies! ...although it might still be a bit of a blind takeoff. ;o)

Oh yeah, at this point I know what you might be thinking...

"This Cranky Gandalf must be a real Hillbilly and I'm sure he's completely crazy"

Or judging by the quality of the photos, you might think that I'm just a poor old hermit lost in the foggy mountains with a shitty camera unable to take better pictures and growing a long beard and a long mane with which sweep the ground.

Uhm... well... and perhaps you might not be wrong in the least. Ahem... erm... ¿Have you ever looked carefully at the avatar image on my blog profile and the customary signature at the end of all my articles? Well, just from there you can draw your best conclusions. That's the only way in which I can save on brooms and brushes with what I earn on Hive to try to keep my den clean and spotless everyday when I wake up. You know, cold and fog are annoying. But the cold dust can become truly unbearable in these extreme conditions near the stratosphere. LoL

But hey, let's stop all this nonsense chatter and get closer to the launch pad to start our amazing journey right away. That all this long harangue has been nothing more than for you to get to know me a little better, to enter into greater confidence with me, to try to relax your nerves before the unusual trip that you are going to start today and that you will be always willing to be carried by me to wherever the heck I will take you, always well away of your comfort zone without the least resistance.

¡Alright! first stop!

¡Warming! second stop!

Oh yeah! you can «click here» for a higher resolution version but without all the raw fun.

And last, the real deal: ¡The litmus test for puritans and prudes!

"The Red Hot Icing On The Cake"

Yeah, but to enjoy this cake, you will have to deal with the bouncers at the door first. Hahahaha

Well, and this has been all for today folks. And if you were able to enter into all the sordid places where I dropped you today and the bouncers that guard the door didn't bounce you as to have enjoyed fully all the shows overcoming the litmus test.

Then I'm sure you might be thinking I'm a very curious, suburban, slummy and somewhat depraved old long hair hillbilly who has already seen many musical things in his long life. And who always was looking out everywhere in the cosmos to peek his adventurous nose where he shouldn't, to share the wildlife with you. Always on the edge, as it must be! Anyway, I hope to see you over here next Tuesday again? erm... ¿Could I? Yeah, you will! I trust you have surpassed the test.

Sort:

hahahahaha a really nice one. audio/visual: not combined but either or. well, I must admit, I went the visual way. I think because the music is not really my thing. Darn, that vid you have on your YT blog, the last one in your post above hahahaha Nothing left to the imagination anymore!

The photos you took: Are those taken from your front garden?

well, I must admit, I went the visual way. I think because the music is not really my thing.

Hahaha yes, I know you are a sincere chap who always tell the truth. No wonder that you were going to feel highly allured, abducted and trapped by the visual part more than anything else. But don't worry, that I will always try my best to "synchronize" your audiovisual experience through the unusual trips of my musical universe regardless of the fact that the background music may not really be your thing. LoL

Who really needs imaginations when with the Cranky Gandalf there is a helluva more of reality to enjoy? };)

The photos you took: Are those taken from your front garden?

Yep, that's right. From the big window of my den pointing towards my front garden. :)

LOL and WOW! You are living at a massive cool spot! For that, sometimes to be without electricity and all, is not an issue imho ;)

Yup! a cool and cold spot indeed, would say the gods and muses always fluttering around my garden and launch pad LoL.

And how cool would be being here without electricity and all in this place to not become an issue? Well, I guess it always is gonna depend if I have someone close to me always willing to wrap me in her versatil hair and warm me with her lovely branches during these sometimes transient cold & dark times. :)

the perfect setting you just wrote there :)

Once again, I'm later than late, but sure feck it, I'm here now, am'nt I!

It was worth waiting for too man, I loved your introduction, you are a man of words, you put em together with fine aplomb. Lovely to be called a melomaniac too, cheers...

I jumped out of an aeroplane to that Lenny Kravitz tune back in the day in Sacremento, California, good times....

Really liked that first song My Medicine, my pick of the bunch actually.

Lovely to be called a melomaniac too, cheers...

Glad you liked my accolade, because in my opinion, I suspect that's what you are: A Melomaniac!! ;o)

I jumped out of an aeroplane to that Lenny Kravitz tune back in the day in Sacremento, California, good times....

Oh! I can imagine. And I would have loved to share in person with you those moments back in the day in Sacramento, California having enjoyed those good times together with the great Lenny Kravitz. LoL

Really liked that first song My Medicine, my pick of the bunch actually.

Perfect! at least one of the three had the desired effect to be able to enjoy the other two after someone had mixed your meds. Hahahaha

Cheers!!
