Pride

Being proud is not good and always at the end of the road if we do not change our attitude we will end up alone.

I share this story that will make you think.

A mouse seized a camel's bridle one day and ordered it to go.

The camel was docile in nature and set off.

The mouse, then, was filled with pride.

Suddenly they came to a stream and the mouse stopped.

  • Oh my friend! Why are you stopping? - Walk, you who are my guide!

The mouse said: - This stream seems deep to me and I fear to drown.

The camel: - I'm going to try!

And he advanced through the water.- The water is not deep.- It barely reaches my hamstrings.

The mouse said: - What looks like an ant to you is a dragon to me.

If the water reaches your hamstrings, it should cover my head for several hundred meters.

Then the camel said to him: - In that case, stop being proud and believe yourself a guide.- Exercise your pride with the other mice, but not with me!

  • I regret! said the mouse- in the name of God, help me to cross this stream!
